so basically, this is set hundreds of years
into the future. Dragons were discovered
underground and since then people have
tamed them. However many resources
became too expensive over the years and
now people live in more efficient, self-
sustained villages. Cities lay abandoned
and in ruins. Technology is no longer
needed. Many new creatures have been
introduced, primarily dragons, but also
others such as pegasi and griffons.

The year is 2387, and humanity has had it run. Hundred of years ago they kept digging and digging into the earth's crust, deeper and deeper. However what they found was beyond anyone's imagination. Eggs. Hundred of them. Inside creatures that no one expected. All the eggs hatched as soon as they were exposed to the cool Earth atmosphere, and the new age has begun.

The hatched dragons were first feared and the world panicked, but their wisdom and knowledge was soon recognised and they were accepted into society. They became loyal companions to many, along with other creatures and raised from the soil such as griffins,
phoenixes and pegasi.

However as humanity lived on, resources such as coal started to become too expensive and more and more people fell into poverty as they could not afford the simplest of items. People were kicked out of homes and many retrieved to live in the country. Eventually all cities were abandoned and the old life was forgotten. People have adapted a new, more efficient life-style: they lived in villages, hunted for their own food, made their own clothes, and all of technology was no longer needed. And alongside the humans now lived in peace the fairies, trolls, and elves. A new world has begun, they called it: Drem Feln, or "peace era" in dragon language.

The dragons themselves are now a very important part of village life, they hunt and gather alongside their owners, they're loyal and strong protectors, and they provide wisdom and knowledge. Many wild dragons still wander the lands in search for their forever companion, some even don't speak English and only know their birth language: Dovahzul. However they are quick learners, and pick up other languages quickly.

( x ) The Village
This is where everyone lives now. Multiple villages are
scattered around the place and function the same way.
People live in small huts that also have a basement in
case of bad weather. The furniture is home-made out of
wood or stone. Those who are wealthier may be able to
afford glass windows but most have shutters instead. The
Village has a market place and a stable, and it is surrounded
by a large stone wall and towers where guards look-out for
attackers.

( x ) The Nature
Even though the natural world was dying while people
still lived in cities, this has changed since they moved to
the villages. Nature has returned in its full glory and
more plants and animals are alive than ever. Prey includes
the standard: deer, boars, fish and birds, but animals like
bears and wolves are also hunted for their precious coats
that are sold at the market to make clothes and trinkets.
Animals like unicorns and pegasi are also sometimes
hunted.

( x ) The Old Cities
These lay abandoned and forgotten, nature has taken
over them and things lay lonely and overgrown. However
they are not completely useless and scouts are often sent
here to collect useful building materials and such. A lot of
the cities have already been looted and it sits mostly empty
and slowly taken apart for supplies.

The Village Law
1. Respect and obey those of a higher standing to you.
2. No stealing
3. No public violence, hate or murder of another person or dragon.
4. No purchasing directly from the hunters or gatherers. Food and
items may only be bought from the salesmen.

Laws for Salesmen:
1. No selling of fraud items, broken items, or rotten or bad food.
2. Provide the same price and quality for everyone: do not
discriminate against age, gender, race or sex of the customer.

Laws for Hunters and Gatherers:
1. Obey the orders given to you by the commander.
2. Only sell your game to the salesmen to then be sold
to the village. You get a percentage profit.

Those found to be breaking any of the laws above will be sent to
the leader, their punishment may then be decided. This may
include:
• Being banned from doing your duties: a rank known as "omega".
• Your shop/business being closed down or sold to someone else.
• Being thrown into jail for a certain amount of time.
• A fine
• Exile
• Execution

3. Character rules.

Really I'm not too picky about your characters as long as they are not too over powered. They can be human, elf, fairy, troll etc but please remember that this is primarily a dragon x rider roleplay. Your character may have other creatures as pets, but please do try to follow the plot of the story. There is no character limit as long as you can keep track of everything. Try to make your characters interesting and unique! It only makes the roleplay more fun. This is also a LGBT+ friendly roleplay. Dragons may have powers.

4. Posting

When posting here I ask you to disable all signatures. It makes the thread look neater and easier to follow. You may keep your signatures however on the discussion thread. All I ask from you is to have good grammar and punctuation and post at least 2-3 lines for each of your character. Try to include your character's name and tags so that it's easier for others to interact with your characters.

5. Drama Drama Drama!

Drama is great! But please do not start anything major without my permission as I may have plans for drama myself. Minor drama is encouraged greatly however, such as arguments or villages law breaking etc. With that being said please do not injure or kill another person's character without their permission.

The roleplay will start with the leader realising that the past few groups of scouts have disappeared after being sent to the cities to look for building supplies. He is worried that perhaps a new tribe has settled in the cities and have captured them, or that new evolved creatures thrive there. A search party will be sent to look for the lost scouts.

The Leader { 1/1 }
The one in charge of the running of the village. Their word is law.

This is the person in charge of the guards. They can give them orders but usually needs the consent of the leader.

The Guards
The guards are in charge of protecting the village. They keep look-out over the village walls as well as patrol around the village to ensure everyone is safe and no one is breaking the law.

The Hunters
These are the people who provide food for the village. They hunt wild animals and sell it to the salesmen, who then sell it to the rest of the village.

The gatherers mainly go out to forests or farms to pick useful herbs or plants that may grow there. They may sell these to the Medics or other people who may need them.
