Maria woke up as her name was called. "Huh?" she muttered, a bit drowsy. The shepherd opened her eyes and looked over to Rover. "Oh, hi..." she murmured. Noticing that the sky was still pink from the sunrise, Maria groaned a bit. "It's so early!" she whined.

Rover chuckled. “You can just get some rest if you want.”

"Too late now, I'm awake..." mumbled Maria. The shepherd got onto her paws and yawned. "Did you need something from me?" she asked, wondering why Rover had woken her up. She shook out her coat, then flicked her tail as she waited for an answer.

"Oh..." she murmured, yawning once more. Maria laid down and tried to get comfortable. "Is there anything to eat?" she asked, "My pups and I are hungry." She felt the pups kicking.

“Yeah, do you like deer?” He grinned, pulling out the deer he killed last night

"Yeah, deer is fine." said Maria quietly. She got up and sniffed the deer before tearing into it. She ate a good portion of the deer before sitting down. She cleaned off her paws and muzzle.

He chuckled as he watched her rip into the deer. He smiled before grabbing his own portion.
“I’m going to get some sleep, but before I do, do you need anything else?” He asked politely

"Sleep?" asked Maria, "What, were you up all night?" She thought for a moment, then shook her head. "No, I think I'll be fine." she said quietly, "Unless you want to hang out or something."
