Secrets...

Secrets is a fantasy role play about a small town in northern Alaska that has too many secrets to hide. You can be a werewolf, a vampire, or a human. As far as enemies go, vampires and werewolves have a natural hate for each other, they smell very bad to one another. Though if you are a human, both species have a certain aroma that just seems irresistible! As a human, you can hate either specie, pretend they don't exist, or perhaps fall in love. Any way you decide to go can be both dangerous and beneficial in some ways.

Werewolves look like any other person in town, though they all have something to hide. They are going to be some of the more athletic, and charming beings in the town. To them, vampires have a pretty revolting scent that tends to irritate them to the point of possible rage. Werewolves can live their lives as normal people do, or they can live on their own in the woods, only coming to town one or twice a month. they could also live more on edge, and phase near town.

Vampires live a dangerous life in town as they are unable to go outside on nice sunny days. Most people think that they burn, but in this reality, vampires' skin tone goes from pale white, to pitch black in the sunlight. Also, most vampires have a hard time controlling their 'thirst' around humans due to the fact that their blood has such a strong smell. Like the rivaling species, vampires find werewolves pretty bad smelling, and will often not breathe at all when they are around. Vampires can live in two ways, the first way is as a 'vegetarian', which just means that instead of drinking human blood, they drink animal blood. And the second way, is to feed off of lost travelers who stray too far from the path. Vampires can be found having many different personalities, some are more aggressive than others, and vice versa. You can never know what they are until you see them in the sun.

Humans in this town live dangerous lives, as they are oblivious to the fact that they are living in a town full of myths. They have all heard childhood stories about how vampires and werewolves wander throughout the town, and they all have suspicions as to who might be what. Humans can go their whole lives without finding out about the town's dark secrets, or they can find out about everyone who is different. As some humans would try to ignore, or avoid the myths, some might find that the beings who take part in them can be quite attractive, and eventually learn to love a monster.

Personality/Background Ash is an only child, so after his mother was murdered he went through a long phase of anger and depression. He would often get extremely defensive and all but explode at people when they asked about his past. In all of his free time, he would work out and fight in boxing matches, preparing himself for revenge on the day the killer gets released from prison. A few months went past before his ignorant father noticed the major change in his son's behavior, and physical appearance. He was immediately sent to a therapy system where all of his negative energy would be directed into something 'better', such as photography and drawing. Ever since he got out of the correctional program, his free time was distributed between profesional grade photography, extremely detailed art, and wight lifting. He tries to hide his artistic 'gift', there have been very few people that have ever seen any of his work. Though even with the help form the correctional program, Ashton can still be extremely aggressive.

focused, Arkady rarely shows any emotion. He is

History Arkady has lived long enough to see the rise and fall
of nations. His name in full alludes to his Russian heritage,

moment he could walk, Arkady was taught to fight. All the
carnage attracted the supernatural, especially vampires, who
would scavenge the battlegrounds. At the age of nineteen,
Arkady was dealt a fatal blow that should have killed him.
Instead, a vampire took pity upon him and turned him into
one of them. After that, Arkady travelled the world. The
longest he stayed in one place was New Orleans during the
1900s. Having attracted the attention of hunters, Arkady
managed to break into a house and hide. The owner of the
house, Daniel Ellis, was less than thrilled to being coerced into
sharing his home but begrudgingly agreed. When Ark was
confident that the heat had passed, he resumed his travels only
to later be rejoined by his old roommate, now a vampire, years
later. The two formed a brotherly bond and remained together
since.

Personality While Daniel's attitude is
quick to swing, he normally retains his hot-

One night after work he returned to find a stranger in
his house. When Danny tried to call for help, he was
overpowered and he quickly realised the intruder was
a supernatural entity. While he kept his mouth shut,
Daniel was terrified and struggled to maintain routine
with a vampire living with him. When his unwanted
visitor finally left, Daniel thought his life was back.
Yet a month later a cyclone struck the city and Daniel
was trapped in the rubble. On the brink of death, a
vampire turned him and being a supernatural creature,
meant that Daniel could escape. He fled New Orleans
after he discovered that his parents and brother had
been killed in the storm. Danny travelled without
direction until he met up with the same vampire who
broke into his house, Arkady. Daniel has since stayed
with Ark and acts as the older vampire's voice of reason.
