He leaned in to hug Mark again, but this one was warmer, and softer than the other.
His ears perking up like normal, twitching even.

Looking at the girl's cell, feeling a sudden jab of guilt.
Why did he do things that? He's trying to help people, to make them happy.
Yelling and getting mad won't help at all...
