Ahh yes, you will fit in nicely.I am Jacques the leader of this troupe. We call ourselves the Freak Show. People like us are often hunted, burned and called witch, and it is difficult to hide. But we found a way. We pass our...gifts as mere side-show tricks, illusions. People do not question what they see under a circus tent. We hide in plain sight.So, what do you say? Will you join our company?

Eliza grew up having a fairly normal child hood with her mother,
father, and older brother, Alec, who was five years older then her. To any one else it would seem as if it was a normal, happy, perfect family. A working father, stay at home mother, and two beautiful children that would almost look like twins if it wasn't for their age difference. But here's the thing, they weren't a perfect family. Behind close doors the father would yell and gamble away the families money. Even though he did this his family still loved him and stayed with him. This, was a mistake.

One day when her father wasn't particularly drunk a group of men broke into their house, yelling that her father owed them money. Alec quickly hid ten year old Eliza in a small cabinet under the sink. They shot her father first. Then her brother. Then her mother.

Ever since that day Eliza has been in and out of therapy to try and forget what had been burned into her mind when she was young. On days where she becomes really bad she starts seeing the men who killed her family, or her dead family members themselves which will often send her into a deep panic attack where she often cannot tell the difference between reality and the fantasy that her mind has created from her memories.

When she turned seven teen she realized that these "hallucinations" were truly the past replaying it self. She learned how to harness her power and ran off to join the show. She is basically the shows fortune teller and is sometimes a knife thrower on the side.

Roxy extremely easygoing and often simply goes with the flow. That isn't to say she doesn't have opinions and won't stand up when she feels it is necessary, but more often than not she finds it easier to go along with 'what the crowd thinks'. She does enjoy telling amusing jokes and stories however, and if you ever find yourself speaking wit her, be prepared to crack a smile or laugh at least once. Creativity and art also comes to Roxanne as easily as breathing. Give her a song to play on her guitar and guaranteed she'll master it within a few days and also come up with a vocal part to go along with it! Indeed, humour and art are her passion and she seeks to bring both to a world of grays. But, like anyone, Roxy has her downfalls. To those who don't know her, she is honest to the point of hurtfulness, zany, and too flirty for her own good. She also has her secrets and can become closed off to the world, even vengeful if reminded of Mr. Baxter or her family. Because Roxy is so willing to go along with other's opinions, many assume she doesn't have opinions of her own and will walk over her. This is unwise, for as the saying goes, 'There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.'

In a more physical description, Roxy has ebony black hair that is generally pulled back in a tail when she performs, or sometimes styled up in a more fancy manner if she feels like it. When she is just relaxing or is to lazy to do anything with it, it simply hangs down a little ways past her shoulders. Her eyes are a bright, inquisitive green, though sometimes she wears blue contacts for a change of pace. Roxy stands at 5'9" and weights about 123 pounds. Her skin tone is lightly tanned that darkens in the summer and she has a faint scar curling part way around her neck. As for her clothing wear, Roxy tends to wear a plaid button up when she isn't performing, as well as a pair of worn shorts and tennis shoes. When she does perform, an elegant white dress graces her body, as well as a pair of simple sandals.

Roxanne grew up with her younger brother and two parents and was happy. Her brother and her got along famously, her parents loved eachother, and the world seemed perfect. That is, until her father passed away from terminal cancer when Roxy was ten and her brother seven. The perfect world was turned upside down and shaken. Her mother got two more jobs and supported them for a while, all while Roxy was slowly discovering her ability to, ahem, persuade people. She would play her guitar on the street corner by her home and sing along with it, and random stranger would come and drop 10, 20, 50 dollar bills. This went on for a little bit and then a man by the name of Leo Baxter as he later informed them, dropped a 100 dollar bill in her case. He immediately demanded to see her mother, praising her 'strange and unearthly talents'. Happy she was getting praise, Roxy, now thirteen, led Mr. Baxter back to their home. Of course, it was a perfect fairy tail. Ms. Myers was falling head over heels in love with Mr. Baxter, who as it turns out, was filthy rich. Roxy no longer needed to sing and play for money, and her mother could drop her other two jobs. Her brother also seemed to love Mr. Baxter, even calling him 'Dad', but Roxanne never trusted him and always politely called him, 'Mr. Baxter'. In time, it seemed her suspicions were confirmed. A random fire began at their new home one evening while Roxy was away - she had merely left the house to go to the nearby gas station to get slushies for her and Ryan, but when she got back it was too late. The house was ablaze and her two remaining family members dead. Strangely enough, Mr. Leo Baxter fell off the globe at that point and was not heard from since. Furious and in despair, Roxanne fled the scene and stumbled upon the circus where she was quickly accepted, even at the tender age of fifteen. Now, four years later, Roxy still blames the mysterious Mr. Baxter for her family's deaths and despite her sunny exterior, would like nothing more than to make him pay for it.
