She nodded "I need to make sure your okay, so I will be staying for a while" Honestly she didn't care if she got hurt, she never does, she smiled once more and kept holding on lightly. She folded her wings in tighter as they started walking.

They made a loud, startled noise, jumping to their feet at the voice and making an attempt to move backward that only left them with their back pressed right up against the tree. A hand moved to their chest in an attempt to calm themself down before they'd had the chance to accidentally lash out. Had they really been paying so little attention that an angel had managed to sneak up on them? Perhaps they had been trying far too hard to ignore the world around them, if they hadn't even noticed- "You shouldn't be here." Their voice was flat as the word 'angel' clicked into place in their mind. Of all the places to find one, practically right outside the castle was probably one of the worst- beaten only by inside the castle. Their tail curled around their feet as if that would actually trip them up enough to stop whatever orders they'd been given that would resurface at the sight of her being so close, but nothing ever actually happened. An oversight or a plot, Sage didn't know. "You'll be killed." Or worse.

The brown haired angel tilted her head to the side, as she heard the sound which came from the demon, and she almost had to wonder why or how she had managed to startle a demon. Shaking her head, she pushed the thoughts from her head to look over the demon before her. She noticed they were kind of attractive, or so her brain told her, and she shook her head at herself for having such a thought at this moment. Huffing softly, she sighed as she looked at Sage again. She was nearly startled when the demon actually spoke to her, and she tipped her head to the side a moment. "You're...not going to ask what I'm doing here? Killed by who, your King?"

The white haired demon found her heart beating a little bit faster, when she heard the demon say that. Shaking her head at herself, she said "Alright." She hummed a little, then looked up as she saw her home. "It's right over there." she said, as she pointed it out.

She smiled and started walking to the Demons house. She hummed quietly as she walked, it was an old lullaby. She grinned as they got to her doorstep. The blonde haired Angel turned towards Annabel smiling, she had never been inside the Demons territory, she was in awe and wonder.

"What you're doing, it doesn't matter," their tail flicked back and forth like an agitated cat's as they answered. "If you are seen, you will either be killed or taken captive. Likely not by our king's own hand, but at his word." Killing, capturing. Either way it would likely be their hand, in all honestly. "The closer you stray, the more likely the demons you meet will be his. This close? They are all." Why didn't she know this? Were the angels not properly warning their own? Their mind wandered briefly back to Cerulean before shying away quickly enough. Perhaps not sufficiently, if they could lure a child away with a few nice words and a smile. It had taken that angel far too long to register she'd been taken.

The brown haired angel huffed as her eyes went to the tail a second, and it was funny how much it reminded her of her cat...Shaking her head, she sighed as she drew a hand through her soft hair. She looked up again, focusing on Sage as they spoke to her, and she tipped her head a little. "Then, are you one?" she asked, meaning one of his. Shaking her head, she decided to drop it, but then pouted a bit. "I'll return home, but...Only if you escort me." she said, and shook her head at herself again. Why had she said that?

The white haired demon couldn't help a small smile which grew on her lips a bit. Shaking her head, she looked at the angel that helped her. She made a sound of relief as soon as they reached her doorstep. She opened the door, waiting for Jane to help her inside now.

(So, I had the idea that Den could somehow figure out Cerulean was taken, but is it even possible that she could find that out?)

She smiled and grabbed her arm once more, linking the twos arms so they were walking together. She slowly helped Annabel inside, making sure that she was okay the entire way through. She didn't want anything to happen to Annabel, she rarely used her healing magic on angels, never on a demon, but she was ready to help if she was asked to. "Let me know if I can help with anything, okay? I can help" She grinned, she couldn't stop it, she had some trust issues but for some reason, they didn't seem to matter with this girl, almost like Jane would give her life if it meant keeping Annabel safe.

The white haired demon shook her head a little bit. She huffed softly, as she glanced down towards their two arms, then blinked a bit as she looked back up again. She huffed a bit, then sighed as they soon reached her living room style area. She huffed as she said "Water would be appreciated..." as they moved into the living room. As she was being helped, she forgot to notice her surroundings, and she squeaked as she stumbled over something, falling and bringing Jane with her as their arms were still linked. She gasped as she looked down, on top of Jane now, and blushed as she said "I-I'm...S-Sorry!"

"I'm just as much his as any other within the castle." Sage answered, their tone about the same as if they were stating they'd found a live worm in their food. "Don't mistake my lucidity for freedom, angel." They tensed after her final comment, all movement freezing for an instant before their tail's flicking picked up its pace even more, punctuating their words with the click-clack of beads now. "Do you really think that would be wise? Ignoring, just for a moment, that I did in fact just admit to being aligned with the king, do you truly think it would be wise to allow any demon to know where you live?" They asked, genuine confusion and vague horror at what could only be naivety on her part at war on their face as they spoke. Even if it was only a short distance, which Sage sorely doubted given their current proximity to the castle, the idea that any angel would want to spend any time with a demon that was so blatantly under the king's thumb- Sage even more so given the fact that they even carried rosaries so similar to the kings on their tail- was beyond their comprehension.

She smiled as they walked, her eyes widened as they fell, she looked up at Annabel and blushed. Her wings were in quite a bit of pain as well. She landed on them funnily, she laughed nervously as her blush got darker. "It's fine" She kept laughing nervously, she didn't know what else to do, she was never in a situation like this before. She winced as she felt the pain in her wings. probably a blood feather breaking. She turned her head sideways so that her long blonde hair covered her face, although the tips of her ears were still red because of the blush. She looked at her wings which were now not folded behind her, surely enough, a blood feather had broken. If those weren't treated soon after the break, she would bleed to death.
(0 to 100 right there, poor innocent Jane has never had a boyfriend, or a girlfriend, or a relationship for that matter XD)
