"I think a fast food joint will be best." I look around quickly, brow creased in confusion and worry as I hear a slight sound. "Is that a rat? It'd better not be a rat!" I exclaim, staring into the shadows as if through sheer force of will, the shadows will disappear and reveal nothing.

I roll my eyes at Eve, sending a small spark into the shadows. Enough to kill a rat and only a shock for human. "Done"

I smile weakly. "Thanks. Kind of a stupid fear, right? I mean, I can control fire, and I'm afraid of a rat..." I shrug, trying to stop myself from looking at the shadows where the 'rat' had been.
