"Whatever." I mutter, letting small flames dance over my fingers. "Danny, just stay still. This won't hurt a bit." I say, reaching out and grabbing one of his 'hands' and spinning so I'm behind him. I place my other hand on his head and close my eyes. Almost immediately collapsing.

The creature screeches and fights to get free but eventually collapses

Danny's mind is crawling with shadows and the boy is no where in sight

I look around in fear. "What the-" Flame blooms from my hands, and I shoot it at the shadows, trying to find the chains.

I glance between the two before running to catch Eve as she fell

I stumble through Danny's mind, shooting flames wherever possible. I find a thin chain, snapped in half and fuse it together with my fire before moving on.

I duck the claws as best I can. shooting fire randomly, but some of the claws find their mark, scratching my skin. "Ah!!" I shout, my hand flying to my left upper arm, where a gash has been made. I grit my teeth, tears sprouting at the corners of my eyes as I try to fight through the pain, fusing any chains I can find. "Dang it Danny!!" I shout, my flame starting to weaken.

I hold Eve up anxiously. It doesn't seem likes she's doing anything but I know she is. I brush her hair out of her face, trying to stay calm

I grit my teeth and keep firing at the shadows, making a large circle of fire on the ground around me which gives me time to fuse another three chains. 10 down, 12 to go I think to myself, increasing the size of the flame circle to get to another 5 chains. A few minutes later, though it feels like hours, I've fused all the chains. I collapse in Danny's mind, immediately returning to my own. "Taylor...?" I ask in a small voice.
