"If you want to see the sunshine, you have to weather the storm.."
Long ago two cats set out to create a better life - Stormclaw a warrior with a heart of gold and deep belief in StarClan, and the lovely Rose, later renamed Rosepetal, a skilled loner who believed in his ideals and wanted to reach for the stars. Stormclaw set off from his old clan after it began to fall from a horrible and cruel leader who ignored the pleas of his clanmates for change. He started many wars they couldn't possibly win and caused endless suffering. StormClaw didn't want to live like that. So he ran off with his secret mate and headed off to create something new, StormClan. They began to grow slowly, gaining loners and former clancats alike but they never seemed to settle in one spot for long. They faced many trails but managed to come out of each and every one victorious. That was until the day of the great storm. While taking shelter in a thick pine forest their medicine cat, Swallowfur, was separated from her clanmates. While wandering lost and scared a tree fell in front of her pointing perfectly towards an abandoned lighthouse. She was able to take shelter within and once the storm cleared she reunited with her clanmates and lead them back. The lighthouse was old with no traces of two-legs left, it faced the beautiful stretching sea with it's back to the thick pine forest they'd been hiding in. This was where StormClan finally settled down..
StormClan has known peace for a very long time since then, they've grown in size and prospered here long after Stormstar and Rosepetal left them for StarClan. They've grown adept at fishing both in the ocean and the rivers and hunting in the thick pines that surround their camp. They come in many colors with grey, silver, white, black, and browns being the most common. They are relatively peaceful cats, known for their generosity and ability to problem solve. Which seems to be why they've had little to no problems.. Until now.. Another group has moved in, a band of rogues, rumored to have links to Stormstar's previous clan have come. They are reckless and greedy.. They want StormClan's territory. And they don't care what it takes to obtain it.
