Paper Mario and Sonic: Quest for the Chaos Emeralds

It all started like any other
day, Mobius was under attack
by Dr. Eggman once again.
Sonic, as well as Tails,
Knuckles, Amy Rose, and
Cream went to stop him
and get the Chaos Emeralds
back. Along the way, they ran
into Team Dark, who was also
on their way to stop Eggman.
Eggman laughed when they got
there and said "You're too
late Sonic! My ultimate weapon
has already charged up and is
being activated!" Unfortunately,
Eggman didn't notice Cubot
taking one of the Chaos
Emeralds out of the machine
to polish it.

There was a brilliant flash of
light and everyone felt
themselves being pulled into
a portal. When Sonic came to,
he looked around and said
"This isn't Green Hills, that's
for sure. Hold on..."

Tails woke up soon
after and after looking
around said, "Hey Sonic,
doesn't this look like Mario's
world?" Sonic had first met
Mario at the Smash Bros.
Tournament, and they had been
good friends ever since.

Sonic nodded and said "Yeah, it does, but something's not right..."
Soon enough, Mario came along. But it wasn't the Mario they were
expecting. Tails realized where they were and said
"Sonic! That's it, this isn't Mario's world! It's Paper
Mario's! Eggman's machine must have malfunctioned and the Chaos
Emeralds brought us here!" After some explanations, Sonic
and friends set off to find the Chaos Emeralds, with Paper Mario's
help. But they're not the only ones looking for them. Eggman is of
course looking for them, but so are a lot of others. Can Paper Mario
help Sonic and his friends get home? Or will the Chaos Emeralds fall
into the wrong hands?
