noticing the warrior, Frostystar called out "Spidernose, can you help me to decide today's hunting party, then you can go right back to sleep." The she cat said and slowly pawed out of the den careful to not wake any more of the warriors they all needed there sleep.

Always having had trouble sleeping and preferring to stay up by moonlight, Littlemoon was already up sorting his herbs by the time his apprentice awoke. He had sent her away to gather some herbs for their stock, and it had been a little while since she'd returned. However, that wasn't unusual for the young apprentice, as she was talkative and often got distracted. He stood up and shook a few sprigs of parsley and powdered chervil root from his long pelt, deciding to find her.
He smiled at Spidernose and Frostystar as he passed them, heading towards the entrance of the camp, almost immediately picking up the mingled scents of his apprentice and two or three warriors. His nose twitched, and he began following the scent, before the sour taste of blood hit the roof of his mouth. He furrowed his brow slightly, padding forward to investigate.
He saw the dark pelt of Duckpaw, the ginger pelt of Blazeheart, and the bloodstained grass met by the bodies of Bramblestorm and Stormtail. His eyes widened, and he dropped the small leaf of catnip he had been chewing lightly. "Bramblestorm?! Stormtail?! Duckpaw? B-Blaze? I-I- what happened?!"

Littleflame pads out of the warriors den, hearing all the commotion "Whats going o-" and stops short, after seeing the bodies. Her eyes widen, and she shifts her weight, gasping and fighting back a cry. Speaking again, voice shaking "W-was it the rouges??" she lowered her head, unsure how to take the death of two of her clan mates

Spidernose arched his back in a long stretch. "Yeah. Sure." He picked his way through the other warriors in the den to meat up with his leader. "So, whose awake?"

Crowpaw didn't know what to make of the murder. Why would any member of RiverClan want to harm a fellow clanmate? More importantly, who? His gaze swept around the camp. He'd known almost everybody his whole life, it was hard to think that one of them could kill.

Blazeheart stood still as other cats started coming towards the stream. "I-I don't know... I wasn't here when it happened..." the female stuttered. "But they do smell of rouges... and something else, that I just can't put my paw on it," Blazeheart added. She turned to all the other cats who had arrived. "We need to tell Frostystar."

Frostystar saw the clan empty, she smelt the air and picked up a faint cent of blood coming from river. "Spidernose, Do you smell that?" She walked then ran towards the river leaving Spidernose behind her. Fearing the worst as she saw some of her clan huddled together around something. "Whats wrong?" she called out.
