Yazhi slowly flattened her ears, lowering her tail at the same speed. She whimpered softly.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan smiled and scooped Yazhi up by her scruff and brought her farther back into the den.

[Mario]

(O___O)

Yazhi yawned, finally sleepy. Her eyelids began to droop.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan curled up to keep the little pup warm.

[Mario]

Yazhi quickly fell asleep with a contented sigh.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan sighed softly and closed his eyes.

[Mario]

Kiche got up after a few minutes and walked outside, taking in the night breeze.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan stayed in the den, curled protectively around his pups.

[Mario]

Kiche wandered from the den. She perked her ears as she heard a roar, then suddenly all went black. The bear that had attacked her roared again before sniffing her, inspecting a good place to start eating his prey alive. Three deep claw marks marked her flank.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan lifted his head from his paws. He smelled blood and had heard a strange sound. He left the pups in the safety of his nest and went out to investigate.
