Takeshi looked down at her and said: "But who betrays? Does the other guy or do I?" He suddenly realized the shaking ground other her and tried grabbing her before she fell, he failed and quickly jumped down to grab a rock and grab he hand. He was hanging from his one hand still holding the rock while his other held her, he cursed when his side hits a rather sharp rock but remained holding onto Alyx while he said: "Try grabbing a rock! I can't hold us much longer." His arm was slightly trembling as his hand slightly started slipping from the rock.

Alyx gasped again as she realised if she fell, she would most likely die. " Help! " She screamed as he grabbed her hand. She gripped her free hand on another rock and tried to balance her feet on a lower rock. Then let her hand go from Takeshi. She held on tight and climbed again.

Takeshi moved her up a bit more and let's go after knowing she was holding onto something again, he then slips but mannaged to grab a other rock before falling he pushed himself up until he could stand on something then he looked over at Alyx saying: "Are you alright?" He started climbing again but let's out a small groan because of the pain in his side.

" I'm fine! " She mumbled climbing higher and higher until she reached a ledge. She lifted herself up and stood on it, waiting for Takeshi to join her on the big, thick rock that was sticking out.

Takeshi remained climbing up, he soon reached the place she was on and pushed himself up before sitting down with a sigh. He stretched his arms and said: "Well that was quite a climb... how are you feeling? Any wounds from the fall?" He looked at her slightly worried knowing that it was a rather quick fall and you can get hurt easily.

Alyx searched herself as he asked if she had any wounds, she looked down at her stomach that had a big rip and blood that soaked through the shirt. " Crap... " She mumbled to herself, lifting her shirt up halfway to see a big cut that slit across her stomach.

Takeshi looked over at her and said: "That seems like a deep cut, we need to close it to stop the bleeding." He rips off a piece of his shirt before moving closer to Alyx and placing it around the wound. He sighs and said: "Hopefully tomorrow will be a lot better, we still have a lot of climbing to do." He looked up at the top of the mountain and then back at Alyx.

Alyx sighed, " Alright. " She spotted a cave on the side, just a few steps and over the...gap. She doubted her idea but it'd have to do. " What about there? " She asked pointed towards the cave.

Takeshi looked over at the cave and said: "That should work just fine... just keep the knife ready, we don't know if there is something living in there." He started climbing over towards the cave and looked over at her.

Alyx nodded silently and walked towards the cave, she almost fell but caught herself as half of her body was leaning over the big gap.
