peter put the ice cream back in the freezer and grabbed his bowl, clearing his throat. "well, i'll leave you alone now. that scene's over, i think." he chuckled and stepped out, only to bump into tony and steve. "oh, hey, mr. stark. mr. rogers."

nicola frowned when Peter turned around but she jumped up and followed him back out to the living room before stopping in front of her dad and Steve. "You two need to quit playing match maker."

peter had moved past the two men by that time so he didn't hear nicola speaking to
them, luckily. he'd be flustered if he had. he returned to his spot on the couch, happ
ily shoving ice cream in his mouth.

nicola sat herself next to Peter after shoving Steve and tony, gently shaking her head.

peter offered nicola a smile when she sat back down, still completely oblivious. "i
think mr. stark and mr. rogers thought it was awkward, too." he chuckled.

nicola rolled her eyes, gigglin. "Yeah they sure did."

peter silenced, looking back up to enjoy the movie and his ice cream in innocent
bliss.

by the time the movie had ended, everyone but Peter and nicola went to bed. So the young female popped the movie back into its case before turning on her Xbox console, handing Peter a controller. "Wanna play?"

peter grinned and took the controller, nodding excitedly. "yeah! what're we
playing?" he looked up with bright eyes.

nicola grinned. "Street fighter, it's my favorite game." She hummed as she got comfortable on another couch. "I'm in charge of training you, but I'm easier than everyone else. You can sleep in if you want."
