I had to work my way up to being captain, I used to scrub decks all day and now I’m here.” Mikayla said as she melted into his embrace. “That still is a good story, I’m glad that I’m not the only one who prefers this life anyways.” She said, looking up at him with warmth in her eyes.

After a while Nymth began to drift off into a deep sleep. She held the other close to her body throughout the night as if she never wanted to let go. Besides, this was the best sleep she had in a while.
