"Chocolate." He replied quickly and clearly, making sure Sam knew that he REALLY wanted chocolate ice cream.

"Alright." Sam said with a chuckle. "And a chocolate ice cram please." He said, handing over more money for the ice cream and a small tip.

Lindal smiled and spun around a bit as he looked around at the rest of the diner. He studied the poor upholstery of the seating and the worn tables. It all seemed to marvel him.

The oce cream was done first and the lady handed it over to Lindal with a sweet smile. "Here you little one." She said, holding the cone.

Lindal gave her a momentary quizzical look before quickly taking his ice cream with a shy smile and quietthank you. He looked at Sam, silently asking if he could eat it now.

Sam was confused for a moment before realizing what Lindal was asking. "Eat up Lindal. Before it melts." He said with a smile.

Lindal grinned and quickly began eating his ice cream, taking big locks and biting off the too of it. He smiled happily

Sam smiled and waited for the rest of the food. It wasn't long before it was finished and brought out, three burgers and a pie.

Lindal had basically finished his ice cream and was now crunching his way diwn the cone happily.

"Come on Lindal. You can finish the cone in the car but we need the get the burgers and pie back to the bunker."
