Rianon didn’t like that the goddess had ignored her question, it set her on edge and made her feel uneasy. She gripped her bow tighter, trying to draw some reassurance from the familiarity of it. She saw Keegan’s reassuring expression and she shot them what she hoped was a steady smile but she couldn’t completely get rid of her worry about the current situation. “I don’t like this,” she said to them quietly, glancing at the goddess ahead of them to make sure she wasn’t paying attention to the two demigods.

Their smile faded into a grimace in reply and they made sure to keep it at a whisper, not that it mattered because gods knew all about things anyway, "I'm not too keen on it either, but we don't really have any other options. If it was anything else, it would be a debate but I've got to think of my siblings, and yours."
They had made it back to her gardens and were nearing the edge of her protected field. There was probably some godly apparition or something she'd do once they got to the other side.

“What if this is a trap?” Rianon asked, trying to keep her voice steady. The goddess hadn’t given them any indication of where she was leading them. For all they knew she had already sided with the Titans and had been messing with them the entire time. She didn’t know what she’d do if their entire quest up until now had been for nothing. She took a deep breath and decided to ignore the negative possibilities as best as she could. Up until now there had been nothing to suggest Soteria was against them in anyway.

They didn't want to address the possibility of it being a trap and luckily didn't have to. They reached the dome's edge and exited out past the same satyr from earlier but who had a very shocked expression on his face. Once they were outside back in the coastal rainforest, Soteria turned and instructed the satyr to guard the field fiercely while she was gone. Then it seemed that she added about a foot more of extra protection.
"Now, since this is big enough that I am abandoning my safety measures, I say we go and pay my father a visit," the goddess mused before a bright light seemed to envelop them.

Just as the light enveloped the group, Rianon stepped closer to Keegan and grasped their hand for a feeling of security. She braced herself for the worst, having no idea where they would be in the next second. The light faded and she opened her eyes, not realizing she had shut them in the first place. To her surprise they were standing at the top of the hill next to the pine tree that marked the entrance to camp. Wind rustled past them and blew Rianon’s hair into her face which she quickly brushed away. “It doesn’t seem like there are any monsters attacking,” she commented, unsure whether this was a good or bad sign.

"Ya..." they answered quizzically as Soteria had already abandoned them and entered Camp Half-Blood already. Not waiting around for something to come along and give them trouble, they squeezed her hand and followed after.
When they passed through the field, Keegan could feel how much force had been taken of of it in the few days they'd been gone. Worried about anything else, they decided to shore it up a bit. Letting go of Rianon's hand, they dropped their pack and pulled out the spell book, "I have to fortify the shields. Go ahead without me."

Rianon hesitated when Keegan told her to go on without them. She knew the barrier around camp needed help but that also meant Keegan would be more vulnerable up here alone. “You shouldn’t stay here by yourself. What if the barrier gets attacked while you’re alone?” she said. Soteria was getting further away by the second but she didn’t want to leave Keegan alone.

They shot her a wan smile and began to fortify the fields while talking to her. As much as it would have been nice to keep her there and be by themselves, Soteria wasn't 100% trustworthy yet.
"As much as I'd love it if you stayed, we need to keep an eye on her. The others will see you and help you out. If you see any of my siblings, could you send them my way? That way I'm not completely vulnerable."

Rianon was still reluctant to leave Keegan on their own but she knew they were right, as much as she didn’t want to admit it. “Okay, you’re right. Just... be careful okay?” she said, hugging them tightly before she turned to follow Soteria. “Lady Soteria, where are you going?” she asked, hoping the goddess might actually give her an answer this time.

They held her close, not wanting to let her go but knowing they had to. They watched the pair leave, only hearing the goddess' answer of, "to see my father. I assume Dionysus is still in a drunken stupor." before they were too far to hear. Turning back to the field, they kept working on it until a high pitched "KEEGAN!" erupted from the other side of camp.
