phil nodded, scrolling through the maps. if dan said he'd played this game for 4 years-then phil would pick the hardest map ever. rainbow road-it always brought everyone heartache when you'd steer off the map.

it brought Dan pleasure to see Phil picked rainbow road, this was one of his best maps, aside from luigi's mansion, but that was on the ds.

phil was a bit confused to see why dan was happy for him picking it-but didnt acknowledge it too much. maybe it was nostalgic? who even knew anymore.

as the game began to start, Dan was slightly nervous, he actually wanted to win. he realized it was really silly to be nervous over winning a children's game. he shrugged it off, focusing on the game. the word "start" was displayed in red letters on the screen as Dan pressed down on the A button.

phil frowned. dan had beaten him;at his own game? what was this madness! i guess phil shouldn't have judged a book by its cover. even worse-dan beat him playing princess peach. she was always a character phil thought was the worst.

dan cheekily smiled as he kicked his feet against the bed. "I told you I'd win!" he exclaimed, poking Phil in the side. he raised his hand up in triumph, putting it down quickly as he'd knocked his flower crown off. he bent over to pick it up.

phil laughed, shaking his head-watching dan as he picked up his crown. that what he got for being cheeky about his winning-his flower crown falls off. even though phil knew that it happened quite often. "oh whatever, i let you win."

dan bit his lip, affixing his crown back on top of his head. "oh, you're just saying that." he responded, smiling. he tapped his heels together, still smiling.
