[anthem lights.]

Francesca followed Riccardo.

Celestina heard someone walk down the hallway, but she didn't care.

[Killer lies]

Riccardo saw Celestina and walked up to her, trying to calm himself. "My Lady, you are safe, thank our lord," he sighed, bowing to her.

[anthem lights.]

Francesca stood outside the door to the library.

Celestina heard Riccardo's voice and quickly wiped her eyes, trying to hide the fact that she was crying. "Hello, M-m'Lord..." her voice cracked. She stood up and curtsied, then sank back into the chair.

[Killer lies]

Riccardo sat in the seat beside Celestina and looked at her. Even in her slightly crumpled and downtrodden state, she was beautiful, but Riccardo tried to ignore this fact. "My Lady, forgive my for my rudeness, but you seem, disheveled, and your eyes seem very red," he said softly, so only himself and Celestina could hear.

[anthem lights.]

Celestina nodded slowly. "I have been crying a bit.' she said, and sniffled. "I'm so confused. I met a man, and liked him, but we were moving so fast, and~"

[Killer lies]

Riccardo reached out and took one of her hands gently. "My Lady, I told you not to go into the town alone, I was worried about something like this, or worse, happening to you," he whispered.

[anthem lights.]

"I am sorry." Celestina said quietly, looking into Riccardo's eyes.

[Killer lies]

"Do not be, I am just glad you are safe. But from now on, I am afraid I cannot let you go out alone, I will always be there accompanying you," Riccardo explained, without thinking about what he was saying.

[anthem lights.]

"What about Francesca?" Celestina said.

[Killer lies]

Riccardo chuckled softly and slowly let go of Celestina's hand. "I'm sure she will not mind, and it is my duty as future monarch of this country to make sure all our important guests are kept safe," he explained.
