Welcome to Clayton Ridge Equestrian Academy! You have been invited to stay the summer to work and ride at this prestigious barn. You will stay in a small farmhouse, and you are allowed to bring two horses. But, there are also lesson horses that you may use if you don't have a horse of your own. The owner, Jodi Briggs has asked you to work around the farm for exchange of riding lessons and horse care lessons. There will be shows throughout the summer, and you'll have the opportunity to make many friends and learn valuable information!

Roleplay Rules :

-Please follow all Tess' rules and Fourm rules.
-I do not give recaps. I think that going back and re-reading the posts you missed with rule out anyone being lost or posting the wrong things. PM me if there is extenuating circumstances.
-Please do not flood the thread with pointless OOC. Also, when OOC is absolutely necessary, use brackets.
-This is a semi-lit roleplay. You must post at least 4-6 lines, even when you have WB.
-No one-liners or undeveloped characters.
-Horses in the RP CANNOT talk. Only the humans can.
-Only English disciplines.
-Keep Genders even.
- Up to two riders per person, one being male. Each rider may have 2 horses and one dog.
-Don't start a lot of drama, please. A few scruffs are okay but no natural disasters or large fights.
- I will decline your form or ask you to leave the RP if I feel your post is lacking repetitively.
-NO SUPER HORSES. If your horse breaks a leg, it will have to be put down, no exceptions.
-NO SUPER HUMANS. You cannot be amazing at riding, you must fall sometimes, get minor injuries, have a crazy horse.

Jodi is a very hard worker. She must get the job done and she hates it when people do a job wrong. Jodi is a queen, all of her students respect her and she knows that she is on top. She takes horseback riding very seriously and will not tolerate goofing around. She is organized, being able to run a whole farm by herself. Jodi is very educated when it comes to horses and she can answer almost any question a student may have. She is a born leader and can occasionally get angry over small things, but the fit will pass quickly. She only gives respect if someone respects her, and be prepared to face the consequences if you get on her bad side.
History-
Jodi grew up on her parents eventing farm, starting her love for equines at a very young age. She started riding at four and has continued ever since, thirsting for knowledge on these beautiful animals. She then began showing in eventing, and progressing till she was semi-famous in the horse word. She then broke her collar bone and decided to take a break from riding to pursue her own barn.

Jersey comes off as a very fun girl. She's loud, boisterous and is always ready for a good time. However when it comes to work Jersey is all about buckling down and getting the job done. She takes pride in helping others and is happy whenever she can train a horse successfully. She is very trustworthy and is a great friend. Jersey will also do anything to help an injured person or horse, and she would love to rescue a horse someday. History-
Jersey's parents never rode, but they were very supportive of her obsession. She started riding when she was six, and has never stopped since. She owned a small pony when she was younger but then sold Carmel to buy Cobra, a horse that is bigger and can do eventing. Times got tough for her family and she had to get a job at her farm, and her trainer recommended her to come here.

A wild animal deep inside. Calla is cunning, brave, adventurous, daring, and strong. She is a bit of troublemaker and can be extremely stubborn. Her personality often changes with her mood and she can sometimes put on a whole new face if she wants. She does not like people who tell her what to do and can sometimes overact if angered. Most of the time she is determined and Cal loves to take on new challenge. She is very close to her horses and dog, and would never let anything happen to them. She can sometimes be a bit cocky and have witty, sometimes rude comments.

Calla is never one to trust right away and it will take a lot for her to trust other people. She is physically very strong and is not afraid to pick a fight, even if it is someone more powerful or bigger than her. Calla is never afraid to back down from a threat or challenge and prides herself in her strength. Cal is tough down to the core and she can be a bit of show off but would risk her life for someone she really cares about. Even if you do get to know Cal very well, she can sometimes surprise people with something out of her character. In addition, Calla can provoke people into fights because she would rather fight than talk things through. Calla at times can get very determined and can be defensive or aggressive if people get in her way.
H I S T O R Y
Calla grew up on a stud farm and from the time she could walk she has been riding horses. Her father, an expert horse breeder and champion rider taught Calla how to ride, train, and just about everything else about horses. Cal became exactly like her father and she helped him work the farm once she was old enough. When her father felt Calla was ready for more of a challenge, he let her choose one of the young, untamed horses, so Calla could have her own horse. Calla ended up picking the wildest, toughest colt to train but she was able to become very close to him and they became like one soul. About a year later Calla also choose another stallion to to train as her own and then she had two young boys in her care. Even after that, for her sixteenth birthday, her father gave her a German Shepherd puppy, whom became her little warrior guardian.

However, when Calla turned eighteen, her father decided that she needed to get out of home and get some experience living, working, training, and riding somewhere else. So for her birthday he bought her a new truck, trailer, and other horse items so she could go to an Equestrian Academy. Calla did not want to go, but soon her father convinced her and she finally agreed to go.

She has trained him from birth, and the two have a close relationship. Storm is very loyal and hardworking and is one who would never let Calla down. Shadow is the more quiet and friendlier of Calla's horses. Although he is equally hardworking and loyal as Storm. He loves the company of another horse, human, or animal and loves to jump. He does have a fear of thunder storms and can sometimes act up a bit during rainy weather. Overall, he is a very well schooled horse by Calla and has been ridden by other people. However, Calla has only let select few ride him, and only those who she trusts would be able to ride him. Specializes in jumping and cross country.

An aggressive German Shepherd who does act like a wolf most the time. He is very protective of Calla and is one hundred percent loyal to her. He does not follow ever command Cal has but never disappoints her. Wolf is defiantly a dog who turn tail and fight no matter who the opposition was, as long as it meant keeping Calla safe. This is something Cal tries to talk him out of since she would not want him attacking another human.

Personality- Trinity is a very funny, spunky girl. She's a bit crazy and loves to have fun and make people laugh, even if it gets her in trouble. In fact, she gets in trouble alot, and she absolutely hates following rules, especially ones she finds unreasonable. She plays pranks on people and messes with them alot, even if just to mess with them. She's not all fun and games, though. When she's angry she can be a total nightmare to be around, and depending on her mood can lose her temper easily. She always becomes calm around horses, though, and will practically rip anyone's head off that is mean to them.
History- For the first few years of Trinity's life she had a relatively normal time. When she was 9, her father left to fight in a war. 3 years later, when she was 12, he was killed in combat. If was after that when her somewhat short temper kicked in. When she was 13 she got her first horse, or more specifically, a foal. After that she was a bit better at controlling herself but still not exactly normal.

Sometimes he can be a bit girly, due to his being bisexual, but is cool about it and jokes about it himself alot.
History- Hunter, like his sister, lived a normal life for the first few years. When he was 10 his father left for war, and then was killed when Hunter was 13. He got a foal at the same time as Trinity, when he was 14.

Sophia is much more mature than one may expect from someone her age. She dislikes the things an average teenager would like, listening to different, older music, dressing more conservatively and thinking that love is completely, utterly, totally pointless when it comes to herself. She doesn’t mind people rambling on and on about their soul mates, but she still hasn’t made any attempt to find one for herself, despite the fact that she’s eighteen. Nonetheless, she does want to look nice when she walks out onto the street. Cool-headed and calculating, she can sometimes be overly so, deliberating on a decision for so long that the opportunity flies before she is able to snatch it. Sophia can be quite firm if she wants to be, sometimes to the point of domineering; this usually happens when she’s mounted on a feisty horse, or when she’s in the middle of a panicking crowd of people. Many have described her as a drill sergeant when it comes to taking care of the horses; everything must be done to the best of your ability, or else you will get a sound tongue-lashing from her if she’s around. She doesn’t disagree with that, admitting that she can be overprotective of the horses in the stable, sometimes to the point of insanity.
History-
She was dragged into the world of riding when she was a kid, when a friend forced her to a lesson with them. The stable that she ride at also had some polo players, and she was immediately captivated by the sport, making the decision to focus the majority of her training on that. However, her parents understood that polo was a sport fraught with injuries, so they ensured that she'd spend some time on Show Jumping as well, just so she'd have something to fall back on. After a couple years of riding, her parents deemed her good enough to have her own horse, and bought her Helios. The two of them trained together all the way until her stable shut down, upon which the owner of the stable suggested that she continued her education here.

Because of his training, he has learned how to be incredibly fast, but one would be lying if they were to say the same about his agility. Jaye is a mixture of shy and cool. Usually, he is one of the popular kids, walking round thinking he is cool. Jaye is hard to break and even harder to love. Although he can seem tough deep down he is kind, caring and a pretty ok guy. He is in the middle of energetic and lazy, it really depends on how he is feeling. His friends are his life and he does love them dearly, also he would never back down in a fight. Jaye has a bad habit of getting involved in other peoples buisness and his friends fights, he tends to be a bit fiesty and is pretty strong and very clever. Jaye is very adventurious and always tasks risks if they may provide some sort of laugh or fun.

History-
Jaye had a normal life, born, grew up, moved on. His mother was a painter and his dad a doctor so he had an ok up-bringing, nothing much happened. After school he would play with his brother in the garden, once he broke his arm falling out the garden tree. But, luckily, a bird had just been shot in the wing and landed on him, so at least the bird ended up ok.
