Best Friends (Filled)
This couple has actually known each other for the longest time. Ever since they were in elementary school, they've been friends, and in high school, one thing led to another, and throughout all the drama they went through, their friendship was strengthened into becoming best friends. They share secrets, talk about crushes/relationships with each other, sleep over at each other's houses, do everything together. Then the neighborhood comes up and they are surprised to find they are moving into the same neighborhood. Another thing leads to something else, and now it seems like feelings are growing between the two. Do they risk the friendship they've had growing for years to try and become an item?
Bisexual Love Triangle (Filled)
A guy and a girl meet one morning in the neighborhood, presumably while one is getting the morning paper and the other is getting in a morning jog. At first, this is just merely a morning routine, but later on, one of them starts becoming more and more attracted to the other. They even agree to go out on a date with one another one night. On the night in question, one of the two people makes their way to the other's house (within the neighborhood). As they wait, they overhear a conversation going on inside. (The other voice belongs to the same gender as the person inside the house.) One of them is being led to the door to leave, and the person waiting outside takes notice and backs away. As the other person leaves, the resident gives them a hug. Not just a normal hug, the embrace was longer than normal. The person coming for the date takes notice and is shocked. The question is raised at the end of the night and it is revealed they are bisexual. Over the following several weeks, the affection of the person in common is being fought for. Eventually, who wins out: the boy or the girl?
City boy, Country girl (Filled)
The city slicker decides to take it easy and moves from the hustle and bustle of the big city to a quiet suburban neighborhood for a change. The simple country person does the same thing: move from the rural area into the same suburban neighborhood. Their different upbringings are noted and while this may lead to minor clashes between the two, they notice that aside from where they're from, they're not too much different from each other. Some time throughout the summer, they are brought together and begin to take each other seriously, deciding whether or not to become a thing.
Faithful and Player (Filled)
One is a known player, bouncing from person to person and discarding the previous person like old laundry, and the other has only had a handful of relationships, each of which has lasted a long time. They meet each other and the player is dead set on continuing the trend by going for the faithful one. However, once they actually meet each other and get to know one another, the player starts having second thoughts, wanting to toss their old ways aside to make this relationship work. But the temptations start coming back after a number of dates. Meanwhile, the faithful one's friends and exes/victims keep coming back, saying it's a bad idea to go any further. Will the faithful one be the one to change the player's ways, or will they become yet another victim of the player's shady ways?
Local girl/Out of town boy (Filled)
The local has always lived in the area, whereas the newcomer plans on only staying for the summer. They don't initially have an attraction at first sight, but just like the others, they get together one day to meet each other and hit it off. They reveal each other's attraction to each other and decide they want to try to work at this. However, once the end of the summer comes, they both have a choice to make: do they decide to try and work things out long-distance, does the local decide to leave the neighborhood, does the out-of-towner decide to stay here, or do they decide the distance is too much for them to work through?
On-and-off (Filled)
This couple has a rather familiar past with each other. They've been through just about everything: rumors, arguments, breakups, everything. This couple seems to be together just about every other week, although this isn't true. They've been together long-term before, but they've also been together for a day before breaking up. This time, they've decided to give each other another chance to try and work things out. Will it work out this time, will it be another breakup/makeup, or are they wasting each other's time?
Perfectly Imperfect (Filled)
This couple is also rather interesting. One person is the apple of everybody's eye, looked upon as one of the most eligible bachelor(ette)s. The opposite gender loves them, the same gender wants to be them, they always get free/discounted stuff, including food and whatnot, with almost no one to hate them. Jealous, maybe, but no hate. On the other hand, the other person has been looked upon as an outcast. No one gives them a second look, has very few friends, essentially a blank face in the crowd. They are both invited to a party one night (which my character will host), and when they lock eyes for the first time, a slight connection is felt between them. The perfect one calls the imperfect one over to talk and get to know someone new. The connection becomes stronger after this chance encounter. The next day, nothing has changed, aside from knowing each other. They have each others' numbers and social media info. Eventually, they decide to start dating, to the chagrin of the perfect person's admirers, but s/he doesn't care.
Rekindled Flame (Filled)
This couple, just like the on/off couple, has also had a past. However, instead of a string of messy breakups/makeups, they haven't dated or talked too much since. Each of them moves into the neighborhood around the same time. They don't notice this till the night of the party. They smile at each other and find somewhere quiet to catch up. They agree to meet up another time, which is the beginning of them rekindling the flame that once went out, especially since they felt they weren't done with each other.
Rich guy, Poor girl (Filled)
One of them has it well. Nice car, nicest house on the block, high-fashion clothing, they have it made. On the flip side, the other one isn't as well off. Most of their clothes are second-hand and almost always bum rides off of others when they don't have the money to catch a bus. The poor person bums a ride off the rich person, who is initially hesitant, but agrees to. On the drive, they get to know each other and they find out the first impressions they had of each other (the poor thinking the rich was a stuck-up snob, while the rich thinks the poor is just looking for a handout) are completely different from who they really are. Once the drive is completed, the rich decides to help the poor out any way they can, and eventually, they fall for each other.
Love or friendship? (Filled)
This romance begins with two people, who don't have much in common initially, but after getting to know each other a little better later on, they figure that they can be really good friends. The relationship is strictly platonic up until the Bisexual Love Triangle is resolved, which should occur around the same time that their feelings start to grow. The person who was left behind from that triangle is so upset over being the odd person out that they try to get in the way, looking for a quick rebound. Over the course of the summer, it becomes another competition between the two people of the same gender. What happens when this triangle is resolved? Is love chosen or is the friendship too strong to risk giving up?
