Katie was outside in her front lawn, up in a tree where she normally would be at home. At least when she wasn't listening to music in her room or working on homework. She was laying back on the trunk of the tree, and her legs stretched out in front of her on the branch she sat on. She had a pencil and notepad in her lap and was drawing away. What she was drawing was unclear at the moment though.

James was inside of course, in his basement with the good old Xbox controller in his hands. He already got what little homework he had done, and was determined to prestige yet once more on Call of Duty. He was just glad his parents didn't care how much video gaming he was doing as long as he did well in school and kept in line.

Jake took off his shirt, and dived into the sea. He wasn't the greatest swimmer, but it was hot and the water was cold.


Harry sat, drinking a coke on his front lawn as he had his trusty laptop on his lap. He was chatting to his friends on facebook.

Katie finished her drawing of a bird nestling in it's nest in a tree. Then she sighed and looked around. She always drew the same things it seemed, considering she was always here in this tree most of the time. So she decided to go down to the beach and draw something new. Going inside she changed into her rather bright neon green bikini and slippeed on a blue cover dress over it. Just in case she got hot. Slipping on her sandels she told her mom where she was going, grabbed her sunglasses, and began to wallk to the beach. Arriving there in about twenty minutes she found a spot in the sand and sat down, putting on her sunglasses and readied her notepad and pencil. Now she just needed to find something to draw.

Jake swam back to the surface. Shaking the water out his hair, he went back to the shore. Great, he forgot to bring some spare clothes. He sat on a deck chair with his sunglasses on, sunbathing.

(Damn, trying to watch the new episode of mlp while trying to rp is hard.)

Katie glanced over to see a boy getting out of the water (Jake). At first she just stared for a moment, then shook her head. Yes, she liked to look at cute boys, but she didn't want to get tangled up with them. Highschool meant drama, and she wasn't looking for a broken heart today. Looking up she saw a crab pop up out of the sand in front of her, a spider crab. Smiling she looked down to her notepad and began to sketch the tiny crab out.

Jake yawned, and taking out his ipod, started listening to music as he sun-bathed.

Katie finished her drawing she sighed. Today was boring. Plus she had no friends to hand out with. So she decided to go swim even though she wasn't that hot. Standing up, she took off her cover and wrapped her notepad up in it and set them on a rock. Then she hugged herself around her middle and walked toward the rolling waves. Honestly, with her body and curves you'd think she'd be one of the popular kids, but she never thought of herself that way or having that good of a body.

Jake yawned, stretched and took off his sunglasses. It was too hot to sunbathe, so he decided to go for a dip. Jumping into the water, he swam for a bit. He then surfaced and saw Katie. Dayum! he thought. Does she even go to Oliver Cross? He then realised who it was. It was one of the average, middle-class kids. But she looked good enough to even be in Kandi's possy. How did she even become a middle-classer with a body like that? He shrugged and started swimming again.
