"It's okay," Elias replied, just as quietly as he had spoken before, then he looked towards the front of the hall. While he waited, his thoughts trailed off to wondering whether or not the dance hall would be free to use after the principal does her introduction and announcements. He was certain that he would have at least an hour or two to spare, and he would really like the time for choreographing dances. Alone, obviously, he loses all confidence and freezes up if he knows that people - even if it's just one person - are watching him.
