What's a Myo? (Unanswered)

I've noticed that many Adoptable Oekaki on this site has something called a Myo.
No body has asked this question yet, so is it just common sense that I don't know?
Anyway,
What is a Myo?

So if I were to make a species, how would the Myo thing work? Would it be like a custom, where they pay for someone else to make them, or do I just add them so that they make it themselves? Because Myo means make your own, but I'm not sure if we're actually added to the lines to make our own?

MYO means Make Your Own. When you have a MYO Slot it can be exchanged for a design that you create. Some players offer to make designs for others to use for their MYOs.

But to answer your new question: a MYO can work either way! If you look at the species on CS, some adopts work like customs, you can either earn them or buy one and then you have to make it yourself. Some adoption centers allow the user who purchased a MYO slot to commission an artist to make it for them. All species have official lines and some adopts allow people to make their MYOs on the official lines (so, they are added to the lines) while some adopts want the person to draw the MYO themselves.

So basically, it depends on how the adopt owner wants to run MYOs!
