I'm wondering how can I have CS dollar? Can I even sell my pets too? How?

You can purchase these with real money through the "store". Just click "top up my account", and it should be clear from there. You cannot sell your pets for Chicken Dollars, nor can you sell them ever. There are options to do off-site trading with CS pets in various websites, but do so with caution as scamming is very possible through this. Make sure you aren't doing offsite trading with a site that bans it, either! :)

You can trade your pets for C$. Basically the same thing as selling since the act of selling is an act of trading.

That being said if you can't purchase C$, trading your pets or offering services such as coding or art commissions for these work too.

Like the user above me said, you can trade your pets for C$, or you can offer services in exchange for C$ such as art or coding.

Trading pets for C$ can be quite confusing to start out, since the pets worth is determined by both year, rairty and demand. this post should help you figure out how much pets are worth. There isn't a price list here for any pets under uncommon, since not a lot of people would be willing to buy them, since they're so easy to get otherwise.

I would suggest you take this list with just a pinch of salt however, since everyone has a slightly different idea on how much they want/want to give for pets and there is no set-in-stone value. this thread would also be very helpful

C$ can be added to trades - for example I could send you a trade asking for a pet of yours and adding C$ 1 to my side.

If you accept, you will gain the Chicken Dollar and I will get your pet.

Just like it is shown here, there can also be an additional button for C$.
It will only show up when you yourself own C$ or your trading partner allows that others may add it too.
