Option to turn off trades completely

Support, it's odd to me that this isn't a feature already when we have the option to turn off item trades and stuff.

I'm super inconsistent about whether or not I'm in the mood to trade with people, including editing stuff that gets sent to me, and I'd much rather be able to just close my trades completely sometimes so that people don't get into situations where they are waiting ages for me to respond.^^
Like others have pointed out, simply closing all your groups doesn't guarantee that nobody will send you trades, and many people won't pay attention to what your trade rules say about the matter or hope you'll just make an exception.
It's less bothersome for both sides if 'trades closed' is something that can't just be ignored.

Support! This would be very helpful to some people for reasons mentioned already.

Perhaps instead of taking away the ability of the user to send trades, this function would only allow people to participate in trades if the person not accepting trades sent it first. If they send it first, then the other people could trade with them normally. Much like people cannot add locked pets to your side, but they can add their own locked pets to their side. This way people wouldn't open their account to everyone, but could still trade for something out of the blue.

Also it could just allow no new trades to be sent while the person deals with the last couple of trades in their trading center.

All three of those options can generate nasty replies from people. And constant bugging of *have you seen my trade yet?"

Some people really do get anxiety over canceling or receiving trades. Some people don't want to trade at all. So an option to temp turn off your trade center seems kind of strange its not already implemented, when Tess herself has it. Of course we know its because she probably would get 100+ trades a day, but shouldn't other users have the ability to avoid apart of the game they don't like?

CS is more then trading. The fourms make up 50% of it.

Support. I see no problem. If people don't want to trade, people don't want to trade and should be able to have the option they want to turn it off.

If people don't want to trade they don't want to trade and therefore there should be an option
to turn it off.

The problem if following your advice is that can leave to some pretty negative and hostile
response (believe me, I speak from experience) and it's rather rude to just let those trades
sit there and be untouched for months and leave the other person in the dark :/

Surely it is much more efficient to have the ability to disable trades. That way it cuts down
on rotting trades or any hostility.

Support! I mean Tess has their trades disabled (for obvious reasons I know) but why can't other users
have the same option?
