Fandom trumps powers. If it's using characters or the world from an existing book/game/TV show/ whatever, then it goes in the fandoms board regardless of whether they have powers or not. The Animal Roleplays (Fantasy) forum specifically says "However this category does not include fandom-based roleplays such as Warrior Cats or Pokemon"
I was hacked. Not going to remake all my groups and such unless I feel like it. That's a lotta work. Don't bother with trades, everything's a mess.

- Pieinator and Tawnypelt3 are right in this; any roleplays which are based on a book/movie/comic/game etc need to be placed into the fandom board respective of whether it focuses on human/humanoids or animals. Fantasy is often included within a fandom roleplay, however because the roleplay is specifically focused around someone else's published and recognised ideas it needs to go into the fandom board.
There's nothing wrong with a sonic roleplay, although remember any art you use for character's must be under the Creative Commons license (i.e. be free for public distribution). You're always welcome to send us a help ticket or drop me a message for clarification on anything relating to the roleplay boards c:
