---------------------------♥---------------------------
first off...
eagle eye gryphons are creatures of fantasy. half lion, half eagle, their playful natures, strong sense of family, and love of flight combine the strongest attributes of all of their ancestors into one handful of a creature.
in nature, the gryphons' natural habitat ranges from mountaintops to grassy plains, with mothers preferring rocky caves during spring when they lay their eggs.
their prey is just as varied as their habitat. gryphons love salmon, but will indulge in many other types of sea creatures and enjoy dining on woodland and prairie creatures as well.
gryphons mate for life and much prefer the company of their partner to solitude, but expecting mothers do stray from their mate when they expect to lay their eggs soon, and don't alert the male to her nest until the eggs are hatched and she needs help feeding and caring for them. the incubation period is only about two weeks, but during that entire time, the mother goes without food, caring for her eggs day and night.
although they seem to age slowly, it is only to make up for the gryphon's long life span. they don't live as long as the dragons of lore, but the average gryphon can live to about 250 or 300 years old.
-please be polite. i am not an art slave, and sometimes i do have what you would call "a life". do not rush me, i promise your order/ the next batch will be ready as soon as i can finish it.
-do not bump the thread. while i appreciate it, it is rather bothersome when there are entire pages mostly consisting of bumps. i'll take care of it.
-no double posting, please.
-you are only allowed 3 gryphons, unless you own two mated pairs. then you may own 4.
