Writing is bleeding with ink... Writing Contest

ωʀɪᴛɪɴɢ ɪs ʙʟᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ ωɪᴛʜ ɪɴᴋ...

A writing contest I hear you ask? Yes, a writing contest with a twist.
Each week that the writing contest runs, I will offer a different starter
paragraph for people to write about. You will have a week to write a
reply, and then I will post the next starter for people to write about.

The starter paragraphs will cover many subject areas for writing and
will ask for people to write all manner of things such as first person,
third person, diary entries and articles.

There will be a poll at the end of the week, while the next starter post
is running. The poll will contain the names of the people entering the
competition, and then other people will be able to vote for whoever
they think has the best post for the step. The poll will be refreshed
each week for the next step. I'll keep tally of who is winning on the
front page.

Obviously the more steps you enter, the more chance you have of
winning each step. But it means if people are on holiday, that they can
skip a week and not be thrown out.

Step three: Article Writing
Your character is now going to join the newspaper at the university and write their first article about something at university that they are interested in: a fire on campus, an environmental campaign or something like a fashion article.


You have one whole week starting from today - so entries will be closed on the 12th July at 12pm London Greenwich time.

Me too, it's going to be a very relaxed contest as opposed to most of the contests I've seen before. By way of prizes I have a few nice pets that people will hopefully want, so I hope this will turn out well.
There wasn't going to be a form because I know some people like to make their own. I guess people can just use ideas from forms they've seen, after all this is a creativity contest so I didn't want to narrow things too much.
