✎Hey guys! I came up with a little idea, if you guys want to enter it.
It's called 'Star's Writing Challenge' (SWC) or 'Rebel's Writing Challenge' (RWC).
If you join, you are added to the 'Challengers' list at the bottom of this post. Every couple of weeks or so, I will set a challenge. It could be something simple like 'Create a setting for a mystery book' or something harder like 'Create a setting for a fantasy novel. Describe everything in it. Describe what it is like in all weathers and times of the day' (which will obviously take longer).
Each entry must have at least two five-scentence paragraphs. You can go over, or make the paragraph size shorter, but at least two paragraphs, please.
I will then chose my favourite entry and the author will be the winner. Their name will be added to the 'Champions' list. After ten Challenges I will hold a 'Rivalry' where there are three set challenges. There can only be one winner, and this winner will be added to the 'Victors' list. They will then be given a pet as a prize, and will set the next challenge. A Victor can set a challenge at any time, as long as they PM it to me first.
✎Remember, the entries must be your own work.
It must be at least two paragraphs long.
It must be at least ten sentences long.
It must use proper spelling and grammar.
And if you do not enter in five challenges, I will PM you about it
If you do not enter in ten challenges, I will remove you from the lists (unless you are a Victor)
Rivalries are only open to Champions
Don't ask to or set your own challenges
Don't steal anybody's work
Don't ask to be moved onto a different list
And have fun!
✎Now onto the current challenge:
Snow. For a couple of weeks in January, England has been coated in snow. What is snow to you? Does it mean pretty, shining powder coating the countryside and creating a spectacular sight? Does it mean fun and games, days off school and snowball fights? Does it mean curling up inside with a mug of hot chocolate and a good story? Or maybe it means trudging to work/school in the cold, and freezing whilst you're at it? Whatever snow means to you, try putting your thoughts into your entry this challenge!
✎Previous challenges will be listed here. So far, there are none.
