Sweetheart slowly opened her eyes. The sunlight gently streaming through the window had woken her. She shook her shiny black feathers, creating a cloud of dust, and stood up. Her sisters were waking up along with her. The chickens hopped onto the lower roost and then onto the floor, first were Cheetah, then Arora II, then Harriet, Henrietta, Venus, and then the rest of them. Loco Coco was the last bird to get off the roosts and Jewel was being a potato and sitting on three eggs, a light brown one, a mint green one, and a brown spotted one. These eggs were never going to hatch; their flock only had ten hens, no roosters. Nugget watched her sisters waddle outside. She too ran out of the coop, planning to clean her golden feathers in the dirt. Silly Lilly watched as Nugget ran outside, the soft, thick feathers on her behind making her walk oddly, and jump off the ramp.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it! I've read a little of what you wrote, Bareback Dreams, and it was fantastic, so hearing that is really great, especially since this is the first story thing I've ever written and plan to finish that wasn't like five sentences long. (Okay, so I did finish a story in school but I didn't really put my heart into writing it so it turned out horrible.)

Right now chapter one is being very hard to write. I don't know if I'll be able to get it done by Sunday, but it's Monday so, meh. Maybe I'll change it to every other Sunday or something later. I haven't even finished one sentence.

I kind of want to take this course.
