Story [400 word max]: Let me tell you a true tale, a time of stupidity and my development into the worst person to develop a crush on. Well it all begins at my ex bffs house (a tale for another time). We, as stupid teenagers, wanted to party. Well thats what we did, no parents and the parents booze. We invited guys over (no sexy stuff happened dont worry). And watched a scary movie, where we all cuddled up to this dude because our friend had got blackout drunk and thrown up on all of our blankets. So because its winter and amazingly cold we cuddled up to this one dude, legit just because he was warm. SO FRIGGING WARM. Well after that we decided it was a good idea to let them catch them selfs on fire. AKA hold a towel on your back soaked in lighter fluid and try not to die. After that party i somehow managed to get a crush on this guy. Yes they guy we (5 girls) cuddled for warmth, the dude who lit himself on fire FIRST. So while this guy was on fire we just stood their laughing as he ran around in circles with this towel that was on fire held onto his back. It was kind of like a bon fire. Pretty cool to see. Though i dont recomend doing it. And our only reason for letting everyone catch them selfs on fire (no one had really bad injuries so dont worry too much) was because we got cold.

The Marra of mine and myself have decided to settle outward West, having to pick up a few stray jobs along the way, but by far a Cattle Driver had probably been the most odd I've picked up yet. Had to get a Horse to help out around here, these Marra are amazing but can't carry a full grown human. Regardless the Marra were very helpful, they assisted in keeping the Herds in order similar to that of sheep and sheep dogs. Even at night the Marra watched of any stragglers wandering off.

That night I lit up a fire. I watched as the severely dried wood caught life of the flame, its embers produced by the flint lighting the wood aflame. At first it was difficult, I usually started fires with a match or two, a simple swipe of the match its red coated head would burn brightly with a friction reaction flame, but this was different and took several smacks of the flint for the hot white sparks to catch the wood and rise to life.

Regardless I watched the fire that night.The way its touch cindered the wood how it turned it from brown, to black, to white, to ash. I envied the fire. I envied how such a powerful force can still withhold life, I've heard stories of massive fires destroying forests how those blazes burned with a hellish red across the land, those wild flames that would consume not provide, but I remember that even those wild flames held beauty and even after the crackling has over and the red hot ashes cooled life sprung up again from the ash, the green slowly coating over the grey in prosperity. Deforestation.

I laid down, watched the embers fly high into the night sky like fireflies. I won't lie i was sorta homesick, closing m eyes I swear my heart soared though the starry skies to my hometown. Did anyone even miss me there? My nap was short lived a snuffle heard among the herd, the Marra were excited about something. I got up and walked to the herd, a glow caught my eye, ok more like blinded me for a second there but i regain composure. Apparently among the herd a strange Marra slipped in, guess I didn't see him, he looked similar to the herd itself, what an odd fellow I think ill keep him.
