You clasp your hands over your mouth as he approached from the dark matter, Vetal gave a sour snort and circled around you, the patterns on his fore-arms and shoulders hypnotizing you as you stumble, your hair on end. His purple eyes glow violently as Vetal examined your horrified face. He laughed, entertained yet prowling, he shoves you up to your feet, his tail powerfully whisks by as he glares at you, the alpha pushes you out of to what seemed endless night, he growled, you sprint home, your heart pounding. But, as you ran, you dropped a great possession of yours.

You breath quick, but relieved. You turn on the lights, you feel a pressured, uninviting stare. You begin to sweat, turning slowly, a gasp escapes into the air. There he was, smiling. His wings beat the air, he threw your important item, it slid against the hard floor. Picking it up, you clasp the object, puzzled as you look down then at the direction where the Marra was. A shadow escaped over the hill against the deep midnight color, the moon illuminating the silhouette. You run to your window as he flew to the small cave you ventured in. He peaks at your home, his eyes glowing. Your hair sits, you take a sigh of relieve and lie on your bed, the events burned into your memories. The creatures features ran over your memories, you take a breath and close your eyes into the pitch black night.

Personality: Cyclone is quiet
and sullen, he will often keep to himself
in a dark part of the forest, away from all
of the other creatures that we keep there.

It first happened two days after we
brought Cyclone to Misty Forests. As soon
as we opened the door of the cage he was
transported in, he bolted. We searched all
day but still we could not find him. After
a week we gave up, figuring he knew how to
get food. I was walking around, checking
on all of the other Marra, making sure that
they had enough to eat when I noticed him.
At Misty Forests we have a tree that we
call the lightning tree. It used to be
the tallest tree in the whole forest and
then one day during a storm it got struck
by lighting. Now it is just a charred trunk
with a jagged crack running down the
middle.

Cyclone was standing there, his back to me.
Now earlier the staff and I had been having
trouble with what to name this guy. It happened
to be raining then, so I couldn't see very
well but through the mist it looked like the
swirells on his pelt we moving. This quickly
brought a cyclone to mind so that what
I decided his name would be. Suddenly he
looked up and when I looked into his eyes
a saw at first just a cold glint. I didn't even
try to guess what he was hidding behind
those stone cold eyes. Then his eyes
softened and I knew this was a marra
who had had a tough life.

Even though he has softened up
every time I see those eyes I get
shiveres wondering what could
have happened to him to make him
this cold and removed. Unlike a
lot of the animals at Misty Forests
he does not like spending time with
the staff or other creatures. Still
I am the only one who can get close to him
without getting groweled at.

I was wandering aimlessly through the forest, a small horse at my side. I felt like eyes were watching me. I saw a shadow flicker in front of me, and My horse rears into the air, her squeal of fright echoing in the silence. I calm her and gaze around. An unsettling hiss broke the silence and I whip around, a large stick at ready. I started running. Footfalls echo behind me and vanish, A shadow looming over me. I turn around to see a shadow leaping at me before all goes black. I wake up, discombobulated and missing all my supplies, my horse and my bag. But I was unharmed.
