Name:
Ciarán (Alpha)
Gender:
Male
Personality:
Ciarán is a very strong willed male. He always has his head held high and is never afraid of a fight. He won't back down to anything, which makes him a strong leader yet he can be reckless. Ciarán might seem rude but when he is alone with pups or other young pack members he is the most gentle and sweet Canis in the whole forest. His brave personality is what helps pull the pack through rough times. But along with bravery Ciarán is very proud, happy, and strong. He knows his role as Alpha takes a lot of responsibility but he pulls through with his snout held high. However, it does take a lot to get the Alpha to trust you, the only Canis he trusts with his life is his Beta, Dayanara. All in all, Ciarán makes a wonderful Alpha and his pack knows it, they follow him with their tails high in the air, raidiating power, and that's mostly because of their Alpha.

Silver Woods Pack traits:
•Fighting Techniques•
-Most times fighting consists of strong cunning and sneaky moves.
Snap! There's a gash on your shoulder. You whip around only to find a stong scent of something, but there's nothing behind you. There's no noise as you feel sharp claws rip through your fur. Letting out a howl, you fling your body in circles, desperately trying to find your attacker. It goes on like this for quite a while, you jumping in circles while more than one Canis Cervid's strong jaws clamp down on you. In a quick amount of time you're brought down. Serves you right for trespassing.
-Most times the pack members of Silver Woods do attack like this. But during a full on battle they face their enemies head on with quick moves, dodging here and there only to swoop in and land their own blow before backing away once more. Fighting deep in the woods seems to do good for battles. But after all, they are an agile species.
•Hunting Skills•
-Alpha selects one full grown pack member to teach each and every young pack member to hunt with careful, quiet steps as they lay low to the ground. They usually hunt in groups of 3-5 because of their sheer size and muscle weight. They can bring down any big game (such as- moose, deer, elk, wild whiptails, etc.) and they love the thrill of the hunt.
-They work like any other normal wolf pack where the Alpha eats first then the Beta but here's where it changes up, every rank after that just shares the rest of the food, ripping off a large chunk and meeting up with another Canis to eat, mates usually share
•Pack Interactions•
-They seem to calm down a bit during mid-day (except for pups of course) they also take naps together during this time
-During sunset they eat
-After eating, their feline side comes on and they spend a few hours grooming each other before they end up getting more energy and playing around
-At midnight they share a long howl before going on a run to check borders then they return home to sleep
The Problem
-Short story
•Alpha's POV•
I curled my long, freshly groomed tail around my paws neatly. Sitting tall, my guarded dark eyes studied the Long Lake Pack leader. My Beta sat next to me, her silky fur brushing against mine. I was not expecting their Alpha to visit me this late. Usually leaders visit each other early in the morning, not near sunset when it was meal time where all pack members were in the camp. I lifted my snout to the sky, feeling somewhat disappointed that none of my members had been on patrol. If they were then we would have been expecting the other leader before he got close to our camp.
Daya nudged me gently, bringing me back to reality. My cold gaze landed back on the other Alpha.
"What do you come for?" I asked in a deep growl. His fur bristled, I had that effect on many Canis's. I was intimidating apparently.
"Alpha," he acknowledged formally.
This can't be good. I thought angrily.
"Well," I growled disrespectfully. I knew it bothered him but he had no right to attack me in my territory, if he did then my pack would kill him before he could even touch me. I was aware of their narrowed gazes fixed on us, ready to defend their Alpha and Beta. They had all paused in eating and were waiting to see what would happen.
"I have a proposition for you." He said.
My muzzle twitched in distaste and I was sure one of my long K9s were exposed. "What is it?" I asked despite my irritation toward him. My stomach rumbled hungrily.
"We need more territory." He growled. "In turn you can have some of the new pups." My blood boiled, how could he give away puppies like they were pieces of meat? I heard an enraged gasp come from one of the females near me. She scooted her three pups closer, baring her teeth angrily at the Alpha.
I was about to respond but Daya leaped to he paws, snarling at him. "We have already given you plenty of territory without a fight!" She paused, seeming like she was trying to control her anger. "And how could you give up-"
I whipped my tail across her mouth before she could continue.
"What my Beta says is correct, Alpha. Haven't we given you enough to appreciate?" I tilted my head, baring my teeth. My tail fell from Daya's mouth and laid at her paws instead.
"Of course we appreciate it!" He growled. I was pushing his buttons. "However, we have rouges around! And more Canis's wanting to join our pack. Therefore the territory around the Lake isn't enough." He stated disrespectfully.
"I'd be careful of how you speak to me." I stood up, flicking my tail at my two best hunters. They padded up with their ears pressed back. "We will not give you more territory." I concluded, flicking my ears to the hunters as they flanked the other Alpha.
"If you do not we will fight for it!" He snarled back, finally losing his temper.
"If you want a fight you've got it." My fur stood on end and I held my tail high.
The Alpha struggled angrily while my hunters escorted him out of the camp.
I growled once he was gone. My claws scraped at the boulder under my paws and I started pacing back and forth.
"We'll be okay." Dayanara tried to comfort me, resting her tail tip on my shoulder.
The next few days passed by painfully slow and I was sure that they would attack soon.
I was lying outside of my den, washing my paws tiredly on the sixth night. Suddenly the barrier leading into the camp exploded with the hunting patrol. Their eyes were wild with anger.
"Alpha, we've got a problem!" My third in command howled. "They-" But he wasn't able to finish for the camp was swarmed the next second with angry snarls.
"Attack!" I heard the Long Lake Alpha howl.
"Defend yourselves!" I snarled to my pack mates who were streaming out of the dens and throwing themselves into battle. I leaped to my paws and flung myself into battle with the Alpha himself.
***Done!***
Sorry if any of this is incorrect for the species there is not much info listed on them so I kinda improvised.
