Blazing Sun

Postby Forever Insane » Sun Dec 21, 2014 4:26 pm

This little guy is an amber dun blanket appaloosa. To win him, just fill out the form and include a small story on how you rescued him.

Small story:
It was a frigid, chilly, autumn day; raindrops spattered the earth, giving the illusion that the sky was weeping. I whistled gaily in an attempt to brighten things up, but it was to no avail.
I walked along a pathway, twirling a bright halter as I sauntered along. I was heading to the pony rescue facility, to see if there was a pony who needed a good home.
After I had walked for about 2 miles, I came upon the blue building. I headed straight to the stalls, excitement overcoming me.
As I looked into the first stable, only darkness and the scent of fresh pine bedding greeted me. I turned away and peeked into the second stall. Nothing.
I searched all of the stalls until I found the last one.
I took a deep breath and looked inside, hoping that, by some small chance, there would be a pony nestled in its depths.
A soft neigh emanated from within. As I peered inside, I saw a small pony. I knew immediately I would have to give him a home; my heart went out to the little guy.
I haltered him and filled out the necessary papers. I took him home and he settled in quite well.
That's how Blazing Sun came to me.

Story: It was a bright, sunny day when I was walking in this beautiful meadow full of summery flowers. Me and my friend were going to play with a Frisbee she bought with us. Soon it was starting to get late and we decided what time we would get home. When we finished deciding, she threw the Frisbee at me I missed, and it passed behind me so I ran of as quick as lightning because we had to go home in 20 minutes. When I found the Frisbee I saw next to it a horse! It was alone and it had no mother, no sister or any other animal near it. It had picked up my Frisbee and it looked like she wanted to give the Frisbee back to me. I took it from her and I begun to walk back to my friend. She started to follow me. I tried to make her go finding her mother but the horse wouldn't listen. I felt bad for the horse since it had no one to look after her so I decided to take her with me. We weren't very far from my house so I could just walk. When I came back to my friend with the horse she was rather surprised but she got used to the horse quite quickly. I realized when I found the horse I spent more time with her then I imagined because the 20 minutes was up! I said to my friend I would walk home with her so I did. The end
