Our baby blue jay is now up for adoption! To apply, please fill out the form below-- and feel free to add one or two extras if you would like! Extras cannot be art (since art is already an unlimited category, that'd be silly!) but it can be anything else you can come up with.

The main part of this contest is going to be something a little different and fun-- we want you to show us his Christmas list!! This is totally open to your interpretation. It can be a letter he has written to Santa, it can be a list of things he wants for Christmas, or it can be both. You can do this as plain text, as a graphic image with writing, hand-written and photographed or scanned, or anything else you can think of! Feel free to decorate and embellish your letter, put it on pretty stationery, whatever your pretty little brains can think up!

Deciding that the right thing to do would be to find the owner of the electronic, you slide your finger across the screen to unlock it and open up the photos app. Inside you are greeted by a gallery of many video recordings of a young bean who reminds you of a blue jay. Maybe the videos will be able to help you determine where the owner of the ipod might be...

Tait is a clever bean. He loves writing. He is not very good at expressing his words out loud, but enjoys expressing them in writing, as it is easier. Tait also enjoys solving puzzles.
Tait is a little clumsy. He tends to be shy around others because of this and ends up being a little bashful. When he is comfortable with someone, he will come out of his shell a little more.
Tait loves spending time with his family. He enjoys talking with his mom and having adventures with his siblings. Tait enjoys time with his dad the most. He dreams of being just like his dad when he grows up.

That night was fated. It was our first Christmas. I had heard of a special Bean that arrived this time of year to deliver presents. Santa Claus. I even sent out a letter to Santa with help from my momma.
Tonight was the big night. It was Christmas Eve and two creatures were stirring. Those two creatures, were my brother Max and I. Slinking around, we crawled to the couch. Our plan was a stake out. We would stay awake all night waiting for Santa to climb down the chimney. Earlier in the day, Colette, momma, daddy, Max, and I made cookies specifically for Santa. Max and I could not wait to give Santa Claus our special cookies.
Momma walked in and shivered. Max and I had to admit we were cold, but when momma started the fire, we both gave a start.
"Momma!" Yelped Max. Momma was startled.
"Santa wont be able to come down the chimney with a fire!" I joined.
Momma reassured us. "The fire will let Santa know we are home. By the time Santa arrives, the fire will be nothing more than warm coals. Santa has boots on, which will protect his feet from the heat. Right now though, we have to warm up the house."
Max and I were comforted. Now Santa would know we are home. Momma left the room, to do some work in the kitchen.
As Max and I settled on the warm couch, Colette walked by.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"We are waiting to see Santa." I answered.
"We are going to stay up all night for him." Max added.
"Can I join?"
"Sure!" Max and I were excited to have Colette with us. Surely Santa would be excited to see us!
Time ticked by and our bed time drew near. Max was snoring and my eyelids had just shut when daddy walked in.
"Time for b-bed," He whispered as he picked us up.
"No!" We pleaded. "We are waiting for Santa Claus!" We were now awake enough to give him the puppy face. They were the best puppy faces we ever gave. They were filled with sleepy tears. Daddy could not resist. I guess this is where the phrase, "if you can't beat them, join them" comes in. Daddy decided to join us. He laid on the couch and we piled on top. We all fixed our eyes on the chimney and waited for Santa. It seemed like Santa would be there any minute now. Dad's fur was warm and soft and it was hard to keep my eyes open...
Winnie walked into the family room. She had finished sticking the turkey in the oven to bake for the night and was headed to bed. She began walking to her bedroom, when two white feet caught her attention. Looking over the back of the couch, she spied the children and Calder; all sleeping. She smiled and headed to bed. As she drifted to sleep, she could have sworn she heard a noise on the roof.

Calder is my dad. He is the coolest dad a bean can have. My dad and I both have short tails. It is something special we share. Sometimes we are clumsy, but that does not matter. My dad is great.

Winnie is my mom. She is super kind and generous. She helps me write. Sometimes I do not know how to spell a word and she helps me. My mommie is also the most beautiful bean.

Max is my twin brother and best friend. We like to play together. I have the best adventures with him.

Colette is my big sister. She likes to play with Max and me. She is a bit of a tom boy or so mom says. I do not quite understand what that means.

Brylan

Brylan believes that his father knows all the information in
the world and is constantly asking him questions. He loves
to hear all of Calder's bedtime stories and listens closely to
every word that comes out of his mouth. Whenever Brylan
needs help with a school project, he immediately goes to his
father. He shares a lot of his thoughts with his dad and enjoys
the things that Calder tells him.

Brylan has always thought that Winnie is the absolute
best mother in the whole entire world. Whenever he feels
threatened or hurt, he knows he can run to his mother
and she will protect him. He always feels safe around
her and she always brightens his day! He likes to share his
artwork and schoolwork with her because he knows she
always has something nice to say about them.

Brylan really enjoys the time he spends with his brother
and he can usually be found following Max around.
Although they are twins, Brylan looks up to Max like
he is a big brother. Due to Max's clumsiness and
awkwardness, Brylan is constantly asking him if he
needs any help with anything.

Brylan thinks his older sister Colette is "mega cool".
Of course, like most younger brothers, he likes to annoy her
a bit, but not to the point of driving her insane. Much like
his relationship with Max, he really looks up to his sister. He
will believe anything that she says no matter how unrealistic,
and will do anything she tells him to do.
