Ever since I was 4 years old and my mother bought me my first horse ( well minature horse) my favourite animal has always been a horse, this is because I always loved the beauty in the nature of the horse, the way its mind worked and the way we could learn to ride and create a horse and human bond with them. i also love that every horse is unique, no horse has the same markings every one of them is different but yet they are just as special as eachother but the main reason why I love them is simply Becuase my best friend is actually my horse, she's always there for me when I'm feeling down or upset and I just feel like she actually listens to me and knows how to respond to comfort me ~<3

Favorite Animal: My whole life it was horses. Loved toy horses, loved riding horses, loved drawing horses. They will always be my passion, but now as a wildlife biologist I have a deep respect for and interest in owls. In particular, I really love barn owls. Eerie in sound, majestic in flight, they are just so understated and yet so amazing. I've learned about feather development, wing structure, avian anatomy.. but the owl is what always caused the most admiration in me. So that's my answer - the barn owl. Something about their quiet, their grace, their understated ferocity, it really strikes a chord with me, plus that pale coloration, pale as the moon.. Takes my breath away.
