♫ Origins

Thousands of years ago, alongside the legendary Amazon river was a tribe of people known for revering animals as deities, as well as being the first civilization to create their own species. Scientists have been unearthing evidence of their spiritual activity for years now, searching for evidence of this creature, however just last month they have come across ground-breaking evidence. Paintings of mysterious creatures, adorned with feathery crests and spitting fire from their mouth were found engraved inside the walls of a newly-discovered shrine. In the center of the shrine lay a vase adorned with the same feathers depicted in the engravings. Inside the vase lay a mysterious fossil, perfectly in-tact and seemingly immune to nature's forces. Stunned by the miraculous find, the fossil was given to a renowned anthropologist, who was dumbfounded as to what it could be. The fossil, despite the obvious age of the shrine, seemed to be very new - as if it was only fossilized a decade ago rather than thousands of years.

A team of archaeologists were sent off in search of this creature, despite their doubts that it even existed anymore. After months of tireless searching, they came across a lucky find - a trail of strange, clawed tracks leading up alongside the Amazon. The team followed the trail, and it lead up to a small den. An aura of warmth seeped out of its entrance, and after a few moments, a small creature lifted its head out, blinking curiously at its pursuers. The team was astonished to see that the creature looked very similar to that of the shrine's mysterious engravings.

The lizard-like creature was taken back to the lab, where it was confirmed to be the same creature as the fossil. Soon after, other teams began to find that within the Amazon was an entire population of these creatures, living off the land for countless years. Scientists decided to name them 'Pseudodragons' for their depictions in the shrine's engravings represented a dragon spitting fire at its prey. Years passed, and many of the Pseudodragons were taken in by humans to keep as pets. Today, this tradition continues and Pseudodragons remain a very popular household pet for their ability to hunt down mice and other pests.

His dark colors give him a ferocious look,yet kind inside,this is his personality. ^^

Ah,his personality.the main part of it is above,quick,ferocious,yet kind. He is a
very protective dragon,he's been hurt too much.[Explained in the story] He loves
friends,although he has almost none. Thee friends he has,he will protect till the
last drop of blood. Around strangers,he is ferocious,mean,and more. But,if you
look inside of him,he is kind,and loving. His nickname is Tobi,only his friends

Nordlys
Let's just say, I'm heavily inspired by my second language, Danish. Can't really help it, but it certainly gives a mysterious and different sounding touch to names xD
Nordlys is the Danish word for "North light". Honestly, I am not that certain as to why he's named that. I mean, it's not that reminds me of north light. Or does it?
Well, what happened was that I kept on thinking... Gladis, no... Vintre, no... hey, what about something to remind me of my trip to Greenland earlier this year?! I remember the first time I saw the light, it was rather faint, but still so breathtaking... But the interesting thing is, earlier that evening one of my friends had broken her arm... we decided to say that the light was a good omen, and sure it was! Only a few weeks later (and not the two months the doctor said), she could use her arm again!
And that's sort of how I decided to call him Nordlys!

Since I have such a long story as to what his name is, I guess it shouldn't be too much trouble to give him a fitting personality.
Nordlys is gentle. He loves everyone and everything and will always stay calm in any situation. He dreams of being a doctor (if he was a human) since he is always looking for someone to help. His calm nature comes from the night he resembles, the time where all creatures are slowly flying into dreamland...
He has a friend named Sommeris, a bright and happy pseudodragon, one very different from him! At times, he is the only one who can get to to calm down from her hyper state... but that is another story!

meaning space, heaven and climate in Latin.
We chose this name for this particular dragon due to his markings looking exactly like stars, thus reminding us of space.

P e r s o n a l i t y ::
Cael is excitable and fearless, not afraid of anyone or anything. He likes to be the protector of the weak, and will often play out "SuperDragon" situations where he rescues all sorts of beings from evil. He dreams often, and can be found daydreaming about, most often in his little cape and mask that Night made for him. While he considers himself a hero, Cael is still afraid of the dark, relying heavily on the charm tied onto his tail to light his nights and chase away his fears.
Some may call him slow-moving, but Cael prefers to call it "Going a' my own tempo, followin' my own music". He is still very childish, as permitted of his young age, and is often misguided like any young being.


H i s t o r y ::
Now you may notice that Cael has a name very close to another Pseudo Dragon! This is because Cael is a very distant relative to Ciel, our other Pseudo Dragon. Before he was taken in the by the Wolfish.Twins. and Ciel, Cael lived with his family, who greatly admired Ciel. His parents named him with a name that sounded pretty close to Ciels', to try and help him become as strong as his cousin.
He grew up very normally, and was taken in by the Wolfish.Twins. soon after he left the nest.
His family is wild. (Just thought we should clear that up for you guys c: )
