Draped in black and white,
Appeared from deep within the shadows.
His flesh gone,
His head screwed on wrong,
The bones of his tail crackled as he ran.
With a shrewd smile,
The creature of the night was ready for Halloween.

Scaring the children,
The women,
Even the men.
Grabbing the candy,
The sweets,
The sugar.
His skeletal body,
Draped in black and white.

And at the end of the night,
He would retreat,
Back into the shadows.
A creature of the night,
Draped in black and white,
Slept until the next Halloween,
So he could awake once more.

I crept down stairs to see what was knocking on my door I looked through the hole of my door and saw a suspicious Trekkle and locked the door I crept back up stairs and looked around and saw blood every where it was only 2:12 and I looked around saw a shadow be hind be and I swung my tail and knocked down the Trekkle and it was just my dad in a costume.
