Fact: Each crocodile jaw carries 24 sharp teeth meant to grasp and crush, not to chew. That's why they swallow stones that grind the food inside their stomachs (the stomach stones also serve as ballast). The teeth are continuously replaced along the crocodile's life. Crocodiles can exert enormous pressure when closing their jaws, but the force for opening them is so weak, that an adhesive band is enough to keep a large crocodiles' jaw shut up. The powerful jaws can be extremely delicate, working like pencils, when removing offspring from the nest.
(THIS IS ONE FACT ALL TOGETHER!!)

Fact: [only 1 please!]
Saltwater crocodiles have super-sensitive senses and can even hear their babies calling from inside the shell. They have an exceptionally highly attuned ability to feel vibrations such as the heartbeat of their prey.

Fact:[only 1 please!]
The muscles that close crocodile's jaws are very powerful, yet the muscle used to open the jaw is very weak. An elastic band around the snout of a crocodile is strong enough to stop it from opening its mouth.
Hey I’m Medd!
I’m always very, very busy and have little time on CS.
I will be on infrequently to design adopts however.
I do not collect or trade pets anymore but I am a member
of some adopt communities so you might see me around ✨

Fact:
"Crying crocodile tears" – displaying fake sadness – comes from the myth that the reptiles weep when eating humans. They do wipe their eyes when feeding, but only because their eyes bubble and froth when eating.
