Shifters are animals or humans with the ability to transform into a more powerful being with the help of their trinket. Losing their trinket will cause them to lose their ability to transform, trapping them in their monstrous state.
Shifters are generally unpredictable in nature, but will not attack unless provoked. However, during their transformation, they tend to get a little... irritable.
It's best you stay away from a Shifter when they transform.

GUIDELINES

General:

• Please do not spam the thread. Marking is fine.
• Do not steal someone else’s Shifter.
• Do not complain or harass artists if you do not win, and please do not give us any sob stories.
• You may not make your own Shifter without permission.
• All CS rules apply.

For owners:

• Selling your Shifter for any currency is strictly prohibited, unless you have purchased a significant amount of art for them, then you may ask the owners for permission.
• You may trade or gift your Shifters to other people, with owners’ permission!
• You may not edit your Shifter’s design, unless given permission by the artist.
• You may not create your own Shifter unless you have purchased a MYO or Custom slot!
• You may not change or edit your Shifter’s trinket.
• You may add accessories to your Shifter!

For artists:

• Artists are allowed a custom for every 10 adopts made!
• Please try to stick to natural palettes. Neon or sparkling eye-burner Shifters are prohibited.
• Permission for any edits after uncommon must be acquired from owners be it for your custom or a regular adopt.
• Artists, please inform the owners beforehand if you are going to be inactive for a period of time.
• Adding accessories to Shifters is allowed.
• Guest artists are allowed a custom every two months.

For mods:

• Mods may issue warnings towards users, but may not issue a ban.
• Mods must inform owners of any warnings given.
• Mods must make sure all contests end on time, and are judged.
• Mods are allowed a custom a month depending on activity!
• Mods may enter competitions.

Yes! You may purchase a custom slot when an artist has slots open for pets/C$!
Alternatively, you may cash in your HMs for a custom.

• How many HMs does it take to get a custom?

5 HMs = 1 standard custom.
10 HMs = 1 custom with uncommon traits.
15 HMs = 1 custom with uncommon traits and one rare trait.
