- It seems to happen overnight. One morning, there’s ads in the newspapers and plastered to the boards inside mom-and-pop diners. You’ve passed some of them by, but after seeing two people walk away from the white sheet talking excitedly, you decide to see what the fuss is about. The sheet is simple and to the point, marked with the photo of a grinning black fox. It reads:
“Through years of selective breeding techniques, the Colovian Fox Association is proud to offer a wide range of foxes for adoption. Bred originally from the red fox (Vulpes vulpes), Colovian Foxes are completely domesticated companion animals. They come in a wide range of color morphs, are highly intelligent, and, if one has the right sort of treats, can even be trained. These creatures are mostly fluff, able to steal your hearts with a single sly grin and a wink of one bright eye. Each one has its own unique personality and quirks, making life with a fox far from boring.
If you’re reading this poster, then it means CFA has established an adoption center near you! Come and see our foxes -- we guarantee that you’ll leave with a new and fluffy companion.”
- -Colovian Foxes are free to adopt! However, if you’re looking for a specific one that’s custom-tailored to you, then a payment of shoutouts is needed. -Colovian Foxes come in a wide range of colors bred from years of hand-picked foxes. Many of the colors stem from red fox wild morphs, and morphs bred from red foxes via fur farmers and exotic pet breeders. However, certain colors only appear so often, making some rather common and others, quite rare. Color rarity will be marked on the fox’s adoption sheet, but if you’re unsure or just curious, check out the information thread for a full list of colors available here → [url]link[/url]
-Since the Colovian Fox Association is still small, we are not currently accepting staff applications. Genetic Officers (artists) and Discipline Officers (moderators) will be needed as the Association grows.
