The nursery has not been around for long enough that the babies born in the first nursery should be adults and ready to breed. This puts ages and proportions at a very weird state.
To avoid people rapidly aging their beans, we've instated a rule which disallows nursery beans from breeding for the time being.
As the nursery ages, and beans age with it, this rule should go away. As a team we are not opposed to third generation beans, but rapid aging should not be happening since it not only messes up the parents age, it makes the babies' ages in the other nursery batches seem unrealistic. Nursery beans should be young teens at most. You guys can age them as slowly as you want, but rapidly aging them is not the answer and messes up all the other ages.
When the nursery has been around longer I'm sure this will be changed to allow for third generation beans, but for now this is the most sane and fair way to make it.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
