I got a really nice PM from a user on here,, knowing I make some people smile fills me with joy, and some confidence even. I don't have a very high self-esteem, but.. Being friendly and being happy, all while making other people happy. .

so in hpe (sport) today my class were playing soccer in our school hall and i had to go up with my team, which were all boys and play soccer. we started playing then my teammate kicked the ball to me and i stopped it with my leg and it dropped to the ground, i then kicked it at the goal and my classmate missed it and it went in. i turned around and all the boys were looking at me stunning and they were like "ohhhh!" really loudly and that included the two boys i like woot :,)

the movie "us" is gonna start playing in cinemas soon & i'm gonna get to watch it with some of the guys from marketing~ i'm really looking forward to seeing it (and i'm glad that they didn't forget to count me in now that i work in a different department hhh)

Okay,, So today, I had randomly heard the song ‘Goodbye Mr. A’ (which actually happens to be one of my favourite songs oof-) and for some reason, this song has always been really nostalgic for me. It was today I realized why that was. I had a sudden memory of a super obscure kids show I used to watch all the time with the song during it’s opening sequence, but for the life of me couldn’t remember a single detail about the show outside of this, the premise of the episodes usually being incredibly random and surreal, and the shows villain having a button that he would reset the day with at the end of every episode. I mentioned this to one of my friends, who also remembered the show, but could only remember the things I had just mentioned. Despite not knowing the shows name, any of the main cast, or even just character names, we somehow managed to find it.

Let me tell you, that was an absolute nostalgia trip.

We then got to talking about a bunch of other random obscure shows we watched as kids but had little memory of, and are now planning a day where we can just rewatch a bunch of them together.

Today at school we all had to write a kind anonymous note to somebody in our class, the person i had to write to was this girl, she was always really quiet and had only talked to me once. I wrote it and told her about how shes a cool person and at the end we could hand it in or keep it 98% of the class threw it out but I watched her hold it in her hand, smiling and walk out of the class.

the customer who called to complain this morning thanked me for listening to her and honestly? i wish more people were like her. she didn't yell, didn't demand i fix everything instantly, calmly gave me all of the information i needed (and sent me a detailed mail after when i asked her to) and said "thank you". my soul has been given new life by the respect i was shown for once tbh

what made my day: this guy sat next to me. out of all the open chairs, he sat next to me. with a friend of his, of course. he’s pretty popular and a couple days ago i heard he mightve liked me. im an observer, and i guess i can agree? he stares sometimes, and has a harder time talking to me than he can to others. too bad we can’t sit next to each other again, bc i wanted to talk to him more…at least a guy like him decided to sit next to me in the first place. also made small talk to the other people nearby, we were in a group. such a nice bunch of peeps <3 they’re totally my kind of people.
