i can't believe you passed away. i just found out that we apparently knew each other in elementary school; we were friends. we played upstairs in your room. you were always just a familiar face that walked down the hallways everyday, but now i realized you were my childhood friend. i don't know how to feel. it's been a day since you passed away, and it's getting harder and harder every minute that passes by. at one point, i knew you by a personal level. you were the guy that i played with upstairs when we were little. i can't comprehend this at all. why did you have to pass away? you were such a beautiful, positive soul, who worked hard to get where he was at. you had such a bright future ahead of you. everyone at school was crying yesterday. you made an impact on so many people. i miss you. i wish i got to know you better.

im really, really sorry for how i treated you when i was younger.
i cant excuse the way i behaved with anything but i can explain it; i was confused and unsure of how to navigate our friendship yet and i behaved on my emotions alone.

How are you? We haven't talked in a while. The last time we hung out was in 6th grade, man, was that a long while ago. I remember going to the arcade for my 12th birthday, we had so much fun. You were the best friend I've ever had, sucks that we lost contact. Just wanted to let you know that I miss you, and I hope you're doing okay.
