Thoughts about pitbulls/pit chat!

In my opinion, pitbulls are wonderful dogs. Any dog can be aggressive and quite a lot of the time, its the owners fault. Also, you can have a pitbull in the UK if it is muzzled,wears a lead, is neutered, is registered, microchipped and insured.

Your wrong about them being allowed in the UK. They are banned full stop, it doesn't matter if they were a muzzle or anything you said, banned. If you have one it is taken and humanley uthenised.

I guess it would be really difficult to get one but I have seen people with them/know people that have had them before.

Unfortunately, this just isn't true. It can also be because of bad breeding that a dog is aggressive, or just not right in the head.

This is true

I can dig up a study proving aggression is genetic if desired. It goes back to the fox study. (They'd place the fertilized eggs of friendly mothers into aggressive mothers, and aggressive eggs into the friendly mother. The friendly mother's still came out aggressive, and the aggressive mother's came out friendly.

Yes that could be the case, but most of the time is because of the owner. Being left on a chain and not loved.
