How big do they get? As you can imagine, I don't want anything that's gonna get huge... at least not for my first snake. X"D

Oh, they do not get giant. XD Mine's maxed out at about 4.5-5'. They're a normal size for ratsnakes.

I have her in a tub in my rack system. XD Tanks make my room crowded with all my guys so I had no choice.

Here she is. They loose yellow as they get older, and as you can see she's almost all black soo, she's an old lady. XD

Wow, she is still quite striking if you ask me. I haven't really thought about tubs since I'm probably only gonna keep one snake for quite a while. Is it better that way, though, even if you only have one? I've heard they hold humidity a lot better than glass tanks.

I love her. If you're just going to have one, get a tank and make it look pretty. Like a show-case. Something spectacular to look at that the snake will feel at home in. It's true tubs hold humidity better, but tanks are prettier and besides, you can always just get a water bottle to spray them with a couple times a week. XD I wish I could have them all in show-case style tanks, but I'd have no place to sleep. LOL.

I think I would like a tank better just for that reason. :3 How many snakes do you have?

As of right now I have 15, but there's a reptile show coming up soon, so we'll see how many I bring home.

Wow. I wish we had reptile shows around here, but I live in the middle of the boondocks.
