If you must, do not use dawnGo to your petstore and see if they have gentle shampoo for rabbits. Rabbits have very sensitive skin and fur in the first place and Dawn will do a wonderful job of irritating your rabbit's skin and making it dry. You may want to talk to a vet to ask them questions on bathing etc
Please make sure your rabbit's cage is always clean and that they are never sitting in their own waste or stepping in it. It should not stink, and your rabbit will probably clean itself soon enough. Rabbits should not stink. Rabbits have very sensitive oils in their skin and it is not good for these to be removed. Bathing will also stress them out a lot.... Why do you need to clean your rabbit? Did something get on their fur?
The only reason I said Dawn, is because it's a safer and cheaper way to bathe your rabbit. I would say go to the petstore and get rabbit shampoo too, but I hontestly don't know if they make rabbit shampoo. I think for one time...Dawn would be fine. Just don't use a lot and make sure you get it all out. If you can found shampoo safe for rabbits great. That would be better. Maybe you can look into sprays to make your rabbit smell good too. They make them for all animals.
They do, specially made to not take out too many oils. I even saw some at the feed store in the pet section.
Either way, if it is that urgent, you may be able to use just a tiny bit of Dawn, but make sure it is mainly lukewarm water, and do not use it all over your rabbit's body. If your rabbit has gotten urine on their hind legs, just keep their home cleaner and please don't put her in a cat carrier again... the poor thing can barely hop in it, unless it's a giant cat carrier and a tiny rabbit. Due to a bad bedding my rabbit's legs got a little bit of urine on them, but rabbits are self groomers like cats, there was no need to bathe her and it cleared up quickly.
