I get to see Izzy today!!!! I am driving home here in a couple hours and I can't wait to see that dumb little face of hers. It has been such a long week between losing my friend and keeping up with all of my homework because I am grieving for her. On top of that I have another close friend facing false criminal charges.... SO it is all just frustrating and I am ready to go home and see Izzy.

We went hiking a couple weeks ago. Last year when we visited this place the lakes had no water in them, they fill up durring the spring and early summer then they are gone by fall. Theres three small lakes, back in the 20's and 30's miners would draw water from these to cool their machinery down as they mined. They actually managed to drain the lakes completely and what they left behind are large pits of red clay and rust. When they fill up the water stays a rusty color, you can see it where Juniper had been playing as she kicked up the bottom. Hence the 'Red Lakes', a hidden secret not many know about as they are off the beaten path.

Juniper thought they were the best and really enjoyed getting super muddy (and getting me and my bf muddy as well.. and the car..). We've had LOADS of rain recently and are planning to go back next week to see how much water is in them. x3 The other two were still rather dry.

Chloe gave me a scare this morning. She was hacking like she was going throw up and I saw some frothy white on her tongue. I'm hoping it was just a hunger puke that didn't happen. It didn't start till she woke up, she ate fine and is acting fine now.

Scratch that, she's still hacking periodically. If she's still doing that by morning I'll call and her into see the vet asap. I'm hoping it's just a hairball.

Meeko does not appreciate his ear drops. (I've been put in charge of giving him his daily 4 drops in his ear.)
He's fine with just hands on his face and head, but anything else? He panics. I can't even wipe eye boogers from his eyes in the mornings because it freaks him out. Any type of slight restraint of his head also terrifies him (ie when I'm about to gently hold his head still.) Anyone have any advice on helping him become comfortable with those things?
