Thoughts on this kibble? https://www.chewy.com/natures-variety-i ... lsrc=aw.ds

I was previously feeding Merrick Lil Plates beef formula and she won't have anything to do with it. She's really liking the Instinct so far

Natures variety is a great kibble.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

Your post scared me for a second. I read "I feed my dog poison" and I was like omg this person needs a lecture of how messed up they are and I read your post and I realized you were calling out animal food companies. You scared me! XD
But yeah, I researched this a few months ago. I'm glad you're shedding more light on the subject. :)

Hey Cardinal, any advice on limited-ingredient cat food for sensitive stomachs/food allergies? He's currently on Evo's Turkey and doing alright (far better than at the shelter with science diet) but is still pretty itchy and rarely throws it up. He's my first cat and I feel like I'm doing something wrong even though the vets have assured me that I'm not ;u;

If its posible kitties really should be on canned foods for their health but I realize its not always possible to do fully, but any canned you can provide is very beneficial! Catinfo.org is written by a vet and goes more indepth. Tikicat, weruva, earthborn, taste of the wild, wellness, solid gold, wysong, fromm.. All make solid canned food and their kibbles are good as well. Look up Wysong, theyre a great brand and offer free samples if you email them! A good freeze dried food would also be a good step up from kibble! Primal, rad cat, stella and chewys, honest kitchen, i and love and you, grandma lucys.. Freeze dried foods are expensive at face value but theyre freeze dried- they expand in mulple lbs of food.

Thank you Cardinal. I do have one question regarding the ingredients: why would a dog food contain alfalfa meal?
